“Charming miners cottages in the centre of Burra, within easy walking distance to eating & shops. Quiet, spacious, very comfy bed. Being winter the cottages do get cold but heat pump soon fixed that. When we arrived at the front of the cottages a notice on the gate said to check in around the corner at the office on site so we drove around only to find a board propped against a tree saying check in was now via the camp ground along the road. “This was a most fantastic cottage in the Clare Valley. The location was absolutely perfect in a quaint historic village nestled among so many great family wineries. Well stocked with BBQ, firewood (it got cold at night), kitchen appliances etc. Fridge was very cold as it tended to freeze items at the back of shelves. Beds were very comfortable. “Nice quaint cottage. V clean & tidy with good amenities. Only downside was the distance of the toilet from the main bedroom. Bed was super comfortable & the reverse cycle heating a blessing on the chilly nights. The real fire was a lovely bonus in the evening as was the outside BBQ.
