We loved this cabin! It was very clean, amazing views inside and out on the deck, very quiet and peaceful. Communication went very well too. Great location only a few minutes to Blowing Rock and of course all of the mountain activities nearby year around.

Host met us and was welcoming and helpful. House was so comfortable for my family. 4x4 is 100% necessary for this stay and we enjoyed the feeling of being so secluded.

We did not use the hot tub, however; the fireplace made it so warm and comfortable. The road up to the cabin was not at all like the other reviews. Just go slow and pull over when another vehicle approaches! No problem at all. The cabin was very clean and welcoming. The area was convenient to Boone and Blowing Rock. Lots of great eating places. We went to The Local and Speckled Trout and Bottle to name a few. We love antique shopping. This is the spot for that. We loved our stay and so did our pup M.J. Thank you, Matt! We will come again.

Absolutely flawless cabin nestled in the mountains, the place was impeccably clean and had everything you could ever need. We loved the large wraparound porch to watch sunsets in the evening and the jacuzzi for unwinding! We are already planning to return. Wonderful experience!

Beautiful spot in the mountains

My mom, brother and I stayed here for my brother’s graduation. Beautiful views and very comfortable. The main floor master bedroom worked great for my mom, who struggles with steps. The host was responsive, friendly and provided very clear directions to the property. Once you leave hwy 321 the roads get very steep and narrow so just a heads up. Even still we had no problems in a Honda Civic.

The booking and check in process was seamless, there was great communication between owner and us. The house was perfectly located and was very secluded which we loved. The inner decor was quaint and appropriate for this house. The beds were comfortable and the house was spacious. We loved the views and enjoyed grilling on the deck. We used the hot tub which was really nice after a long day of walking. I would highly recommend this unique round home.

Wonderful stay

My family of 5 (3 teenagers) had a great stay at this quiet property. We had the feeling of being in a very secluded spot, but Blowing Rock and its attractions are only a short drive away. We hiked along the Blue Ridge Parkway and spent a day at the Cumberland Gap. We concluded each day in the hot tub, watching the clouds form over the mountains. The provided games kept the kids off their phones, which was a big plus. It was all very relaxing. The cabin was very well equipped, and communication with the owners was seamless. They gave us excellent directions to the cabin. The driveway is a bit steep, but our fully loaded minivan made it with no problem once we put it in low gear.

Mountain top treasure

This is an excellent mountain top cabin with gorgeous views, room for six overnighters, and is without a doubt, the cleanest property I have ever rented. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. The round cabin is high up the mountain, just south of blowing rock, and it is both quiet, with sounds of songbirds and a lovely place for short or long-term stay. The drive up to the cabin is winding and very steep, and folks should be aware that in winter time it might be a real challenge to get up there. There is a lovely hot tub on one of the two porches, giving you a fantastic view of the Blue Ridge mountains. For those that enjoy a relaxed inside vacation, there were 1 million fantastic books on the bookshelf, a lovely fireplace, and the flatscreen was more than sufficient. Wi-Fi is rather limited, but the renters are great communicators and make that clear in there description of the cabin. Overall, this is a beautiful location and place to spend time, especially if you love the blowing rock area.

Amazing

Loved our stay at your property, beautiful home, very clean, and tastefully decorated, beds was comfortable, the view was amazing, we spent a lot of time on the deck listening to the birds, taking in the views of the mountains and enjoying the hot tub. You felt like you were far away from a town, but actually you are only about 5 minutes away. Would recommend this property.

Fantastic mountain house

Could not recommend this house enough for a vacation. The house itself is in great condition, was very clean and came with more items than a majority of VRBO houses we’ve stayed in (I.e. didn’t have to spend money on trash bag, PT, Etc.). The views of the mountain are incredible and it feels very secluded while also being close to plenty of restaurants/shopping/etc. Hot tub was a nice amenity and it was well maintained and clean, house included listing of things to do in the area that was helpful, etc. The hosts are direct and responsive communicators, very helpful. 10/10 hosts. The road up to the house is pretty intense, would recommend a car made for the mountains. After we got used to the drive up to the house it wasn’t bad and I enjoyed the ride.
