“We had a great stay at Margi House. The room was beautifully furnished, and the outdoor jacuzzi was so lovely. The hill, which many mentioned, wasn’t too bad and was easily doable. The receptionist was super helpful and friendly - always with a smile on her face. Just a few things that could be improved: our coffee & water glasses weren’t cleaned until the last day. Since we didn’t have a kitchenette, this would have been nice. The main pool was lovely, but we did have to fish out a lot of bugs...

“A lovely hotel with a very good sea view from our room. The staff were very efficient, helpful and polite. Breakfast was good. Would definitely stay again despite it being a big hill to walk up to the hotel from the town, we got used to it so no problem for our stay.”

“The beach was further away than what was described and the “road” was not an actual road. The amenities ended up being less than what was listed, there are no washers, no parking, wifi sucks, etc. the pool was not clean, the food remained the same every day. It’s far from the main road. Towels were never changed, sheets never changed, never sweeper or mopped the room and we stayed for a decent time. Depending on the room the appliances did not work which we didn’t find out until everything went...

“Old hotel but well kept, close to the port and the airport. No beach in front of property, but there is bus stop 50 m away from where you can catch a bus. Breakfast was good, but only filter coffee and no fresh orange juice. I found the hotel to be overpriced. ”

“The hotel was well situated for easy walking access to town and the bus stops. It felt new and well looked after, and was in a good location for the couple of nights I was there. I booked a king room, which was on the ground floor and although the patio door was double glazed, you could hear a deal of outside noise. The room was also quite small and also did not have a secondary privacy curtain, so you did not feel private when washing/getting dressed etc. you would need to draw the blackout...

“Very clean room daily, sheets and towels changed frequently. Staff very helpful. Outside bar was not open when we stayed 10/26th October. As we were the only people staying so had the pool to ourselves. Kitchen lacked utensils wine glasses, dishes for microwaving if cooking all the time in the apartment, but you only have to ask. Shower was a disappointment as small tiled floor with nylon curtain, needs modernising. WiFi could only get in the little reception not in the room for the first 2...

“Had a great time at Afissos Blu Hotel. The location is perfect, right by the sea. Just down the street are a number of tavernas and shops. The little village is quiet and picturesque, ideal for a relaxing vacation. The highlight of our stay was our host. She was extremely helpful and accommodating! We were gifted a jar of homemade honey before we left and felt right at home during our stay. Highly recommended! 5 stars!”
