Extremely disappointing stay – cleanliness, safety, and misleading listing. We arrived at 8pm to find the apartment only partially cleaned. Beds were not made and appeared unchanged, toilets were filthy, bins were left full with bags beside them, only two toilet rolls were provided, and there were no clean towels. Previous guests’ towels and clothing were still in the rooms. Despite a lockbox on the door, we were required to collect keys from a nearby ski shop. The contact did not answer the phone adding frustration to the checkin. We were told cleaners thought we were arriving the next day. Towels were later delivered but were old, mismatched, and poor quality. No cleaning was offered despite photo evidence, nor was any cleaning fee refunded. That night, a serious safety issue occurred when my son received an electric shock while turning on the shower. An electrician entered the apartment the following day and said he hoped he fixed the issue. We did not use the 2nd bathroom again. Instead it became ski storage. The apartment is poorly maintained: a toilet doorknob fell off, the toilet seats were broken, bathroom tiles were cracked and sharp, and the bunk bed boards were broken & sagging. The listing advertised a hot tub but this is actually at a community centre next door costing 23 per person per visit. While the host refunded pool access, the listing was misleading. Positives include a good location, nearby stores, kitchen, smart TVs & heated towel racks.
