“The property is an affordable option if you want to visit New River Gorge and not pay hundreds per night at the resort or tent camp in order to do so. For the price you get a clean, air conditioned place to stay with a basic kitchen and great shower, which is perfect for after a day of hiking or other activities. You can't walk to get anywhere and it's a 15-20 minute drive into town, so just plan accordingly. The host is very responsive and helpful. ”

Cute setting that is quiet but situated right across from the office and outdoor games so I imagine there could be noise or traffic. “We had a great stay at the Cottage. We were in town for the Total Archery Challenge and staying in Oak Hill was so convenient. “We very much enjoyed our stay here. The location was very convenient to New River Gorge, and It was also close to a grocery store and restaurants. The house was clean and comfortable. Although we didn't cook, the kitchen seemed well equipped. They were generous with the household goods, such as soap, paper towels, etc. The house was tastefully decorated and the furniture and beds were comfortable.
