Welcome to your home away from home in Lewellen, NE

  • Whether you are here for fishing and fun at nearby Lake McConaughy in the summer, hunting in the fall, a wedding or family reunion or just some time away, this location has what you are looking for.

    Lewellen is a small town and the locals will help you feel welcome as you check out the local shops, cafes or the seasonal outdoor swimming pool.

    This is a popular spot for watching wildlife, such as the annual Sandhill crane migration. You can explore Ash Hollow State Park and view the Oregon Trail, or you can wander down the banks of the North Platte River.

    This quiet town is located 12 miles from the campgrounds and beaches on the west end of Lake McConaughy and 26 miles from the dam and east end campgrounds. Ash Hollow State park is just 5 miles south of town.

    This home sleeps 6 and is fully equipped to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
    Pets are welcome for an additional fee. However, there is currently no fenced in area, so pets will need to be on a leash or with you at all times.

Great place to stay while visiting family

We needed a place to stay that was closer to family, and where we could easily cook dinners. This property had everything we needed and it was a nice place to stay at.

Good experience

Easy process of checking in, plenty of room, lots of towels available, plenty of supplies for cleanup, firewood already available for fire pit, quiet location.

Very clean, and family friendly place to stay. Truly a home away from home! Extremely thought out accommodations. Easy check in and out. Friendly host!! Pet friendly was a plus!!

Nice little place

We only stayed one night but uad everything we needed. Well stocked with furnishings in the kitchen and a bunch of family friendly games. Plenty of space for a few adults and some pups.

Spending the 4th in Lewellen

This was the perfect property for what we needed. It allowed space and comfort. The owner is quick to respond. Will definitely rent again.

Nice stay

We had a nice time once we were able to get in to the property and find the right house. A house number would be helpful. The house was really cute and we had a good visit.

Good lake house rental

I’ve stayed in a few rentals in Lewellen and this one was a pleasant surprise. It was 100 degrees while we were there and it was so nice to come back from the lake to an air conditioned house where the AC worked well at cooling the house. The ceiling fans in the bedrooms and family room were great to have as well. The queen beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with what we needed to cook a meal. The Wi-Fi, working tv and games were great to have as well. We had a nice stay! Thank you!
