  • Bienvenido a la estación Hutchison, nuestra estación de trenes renovada de 1890. Explore las granjas de caballos, el sendero Bourbon y el centro de KY mientras se hospeda en nuestra granja de caballos pura sangre en pleno corazón del bluegrass.
    La estación Hutchison fue parte del sistema ferroviario L&N entre 1890 y 1950 con servicio de pasajeros y carga entre Lexington y París. Era el centro de la comunidad local e incluía una oficina de correos, 2 herrerías, tiendas generales y corrales de ganado.
    La estación de Hutchison se divide en dos apartamentos en planta baja. El "Limerick" (llamado así por el caballo del evento de Lisa) tiene pisos de madera noble en todo, techos de 12 'y está amueblado con muebles locales artesanales y antiguos. El Limerick tiene dos habitaciones con baño, cada una con una cama king size. La sala de estar incluye asientos de mostrador para cuatro más asientos de mesa para cuatro.
    La estación de Hutchison está aproximadamente a medio camino entre Lexington y París.

Absolutely beautiful accommodations and property. Loved feeding the donkeys!!! They were soooooo sweet! Close to town yet in the "country". Owners were communicative and very hospitable. LOVED our stay!

We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again. The grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed visiting the horses and donkeys. The house was comfortable and clean. Plus, the hosts are very welcoming and quick to answer questions. They even left a plate of chocolate chip cookies for our arrival.

For years, we have been coming here every April for a reason. The location, the horses and their foals out the front door, the beautiful restoration of the train station make this place a favorite to visit and enjoy.

This place is wonderful! It’s our favorite Vrbo. Watching the horses with their foals from our front door and feeding carrots to the two donkeys. Very comfortable stay.We will be back for our 3rd time in the near future.

Everything was great! We especially enjoyed walking to the barn, petting horses and foals, feeding carrots to the donkeys and sitting outside on beautiful chairs watching the foals run and play!

We have stayed here several times and always love it. Steve and Lisa always make sure everything is perfect. It's so relaxing to watch the mares and foals in the paddock across the driveway at this time of year.

What a wonderful place to stay!! The owners were *very* nice and quite personable and the property was clean, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. Additionally the beds and furniture were quite comfortable. We were visiting Paris to see some old friends and were able to host them for a lovely dinner (with local steaks on the grill). We also enjoyed visiting with the horses on the farm and "chatting" with the donkeys. We enjoyed the tour at Clairborne Farm as well as shopping for local antiques and artisan products in downtown Paris. Highly recommended!!

We've stayed here many times and it's always lovely. Always love walking the grounds to see the horses and the donkeys. Bring lots of treats for the donkeys - they will yell at you if you don't give them the proper attention.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Upon our arrival, we met Steve and he was very welcoming. The renovated train station is beautiful and extremely clean and the rooms are very spacious. It was enjoyable going outside to give John George and Sadie some treats. They are both so sweet! We also loved seeing the mares and their foals out in the pasture. I would pick this beautiful country setting over a busy hotel!

Nice big place, plenty of space nice big kitchen too. Close to Paris and Lexington. Beutiful scenery and the donkeys were a bonus!

What a relaxing property! It is located adjacent to a large farm and overlooks one of the pastures. While we were there there were several young foals and young females who visited the area - particularly in the evening. It was very relaxing to sit outside and watch the horses in the field. The property had everything we needed. The kitchen was quite large and well stocked with enough plates, silverware, etc. for four people. The beds were comfortable and the shower had ample hot water. One minor note, it takes several minutes for the water to get hot, but when it did there was plenty. Our host was great and we would definitely recommend staying here, even though its a bit far from Lexington.

Our stay was amazing. Loved being able to walk out the door and feed the donkeys and check out the horses. Beautiful property inside and out, easy location and wonderful hosts. We'll be back!

We have stayed here several times now and every visit is perfect. The place is impeccably clean and maintained. Stephen and Lisa are wonderful hosts and watching the mares and foals across the street is an extra special bonus.

Beautiful place

We really enjoyed it stay. The dwelling is beautiful, as well as the grounds. And, of course, the horses and the donkeys were such pleasure to see and feed a few carrots. Loved it.
