“It is a lovely unique building of great history . Unfortunately on a Thursday night they had various things not available on the menu including the Cheeseboard and no Merlot wine and no port left.
The staff were not very friendly . They did their job is about it. Where we had breakfast was a fly paper which had been there maybe years with dead flies stuck to it
. The general cleanliness was not great I stress this is a stone floored 16 c property and general cleanliness in the pub...

“We had a very comfortable stay. The room was very clean, the breakfast made to your order with additional cereal and juice available. The staff were very friendly and concerned about our needs. Car parking was provided at the back.
The location was within walking distance from the town centre pubs and restaurant as well as next to a big Tesco. Perhaps the TV was a tad small. ”
