Castle View Cottage - impresionante cabaña en los valles de Yorkshire

Castle View, Castle Bolton realmente hace honor a su nombre, con vistas de la cabaña que literalmente no pueden ser superadas (¡y solo son igualadas por nuestro vecino!)
Completamente restaurada en 2015/2016, la casa de campo está abierta en la planta baja, con área de cocina, una gran mesa de comedor, sofá, sillas, TV y radio DAB. La naturaleza abierta le da una sensación muy acogedora, pero ciertamente no es estrecha.
Arriba hay dos dormitorios, uno con dos camas individuales y el dormitorio principal con una cama super grande (se puede dividir en dos individuales si lo desea). El cuarto de baño de arriba está equipado con un moderno paseo en ducha potente, inodoro y lavabo.
Hay calefacción central de gasoil y una hermosa estufa de leña para pasar una noche acogedora.
En el exterior hay una zona cerrada de asientos traseros con muebles. (almacenado en la letrina). Hay un asiento en la parte delantera de la propiedad mirando hacia el castillo de Bolton.
La cabaña también tenía banda ancha de alta velocidad

a beautiful little cottage in a lovely area. Quiet and peaceful, neighbours lovely, loved listening to the geese, curlews, pheasants and the owls at night. The only disappointing item was the bed was so hard we have both walked away with a bad back. Some people don't mind a hard bed so this is not a complaint. We certainly would go back but would take a topper with us :)

Perfect cottage!

We had booked Castle View as our accommodation for our wedding at Bolton Castle. Our bridal party stayed with us and at the cottage next door and it was perfect. We could not have asked for more.

Perfect base to explore the Dales

We had a lovely, comfortable stay in Castle View cottage. It was perfectly located, and the short walk to Bolton Castle and view from the front windows were fantastic. Even on rainy days we found lots to do and it was great just staying in and watching the weather with a cup of tea. Highly recommended!

A return visit to Castle View. Clean, spacious property that is a great base for a visit to the Dales. Anne the owner is a great host, excellent communication. Castle Bolton is a wonderful location and would definitely recommend a visit.

Another wonderful stay at Castle View

This is the second time we've stayed in Castle View - it is perfect for us. The cottage has everything you might need, the location is wonderful and the hosts are brilliantly responsive. We'll definitely stay again.

Long weekend away for Family Wedding

The property is superb, immaculate and well equipped and furnished to a high standard. We especially appreciated the extras washing up liquid, soap in bathroom, tin foil, bin bags all items that usually are not provided and then need to be purchased and perhaps only use a small amount. The only downside was it was difficult to park over the weekend but settled down by Sunday night. Thank you for a fabulous stay 10/10

Superb location and delightful cottage

There’s not much you can fault about this property. The aspect (looking across the greens to Bolton Castle) is beautiful, the location peaceful and the cottage itself was more spacious than we had imagined. The addition of help from a friendly neighbour when we arrived was a wonderful bonus. It was clean, well maintained and superbly equipped. We were pleasantly surprised to find a large fridge-freezer when no freezer had been mentioned and indeed some older reviews had referred to a tiny “camping fridge”. A quick trip to the supermarket in nearby Leyburn remedied the lack of frozen foods we had brought with us. We had a fabulous, relaxing holiday and would love to go back again one day.

Lovely cottage in a lovely location. Very clean and everything you need. lots of walking nearby and waterfalls to see. Great pub in Leyburn for evening meal the Golden Lion but ring and book as it gets busy, Food amazing... Hope to go back when we can..
