Luxurious private gite with pool, terrace, large gardens, golf simulator and gym

  • Set in private grounds, our exclusive gite offers guests a tranquil holiday in a beautiful converted stone barn offering every comfort. The gite is not overlooked by the main house and you will not be sharing the facilities with any other guests. So whether you choose to start your day with coffee by the heated pool, play a few holes on the golf simulator, work out in the gym, play petanque or stroll around the large enclosed gardens and private woods, you are assured of a peaceful holiday that you will not want to end.

    The gite features uplit walls, a balustrade overlooking the lounge and even a feature well in the dining area. The fully equipped kitchen has every amenity including a dishwasher, blender and bean to cup coffee machine. The lounge/dining area features a beautiful French dining table, big comfy couch in the lounge and a Samsung 50" smart tv with French channels, plus Netflix and Amazon movies and an antique Godin log burner.

    You have a choice of terraces, one outside the gite and the other located by the pool next to the outdoor BBQ and opposite the wood-fired pizza oven. This area is surrounded by hanging vines that provide shelter from the sun and makes it beautiful during the day and stunning at night as you dine by the pool, lit by hanging lights. Smoking is allowed in all outdoor areas.

    Wi-Fi and Alexa is available throughout the property including the kitchen, bedroom, gym, golf simulator and by the pool. The Petanque area is located by the pool and 2 electric mountain bikes are also available to explore the surrounding countryside. All equipment including golf is provided free of charge. We are also normally available onsite if you require any help or assistance during your stay.

Rural French idyllic

Beautiful gite, spotlessly clean. Pete and Laura were very friendly hosts; booking restaurants and giving lots of practical tips and advice. Would strongly recommend a relaxing stay x

Outstanding!

You couldn't find better hosts that welcome you and see to your every need! The property is large, spacious and has everything you need. The pool is fantastic. The location is quiet and peaceful, yet very close to the excellent local Super U and other amenities, and has excellent links to make exploring the area very easy. It's so good, we've already booked for next year!

We had a wonderful time

The hosts are a very welcoming couple. Always nearby to help if you needed anything. So helpful and friendly from the minute we arrived. Clean accommodation with modern renovation and appliances (the accommodation is a gite beside main house).Lovely pool and bar area as well as attached woodland to explore. Perfect location within a few minutes drive of the nearest supermarket. Thank you Laura and Peter for making our stay so enjoyable. Definitely planning our return

Lovely week in the sunshine

Fabulous gite with fabulous hosts. Pete and Laura were incredibly hospitable from booking restaurants, giving golf lessons and joining us for late night nibbles and drinks. Loved Max and Ruby and missing the 'stone game' Pool and gite were even lovelier than we expected. We will return. Matt & Hayley

Super séjour relaxant

Gîte tout neuf avec mélange rustique et moderne. On était aux petits soins, hôtes adorables. Tout est à disposition : grandes bouées piscine, vélos, charbon BBQ + ustensiles et allume feu, machine à laver sèche linge lave vaisselle, sèche cheveux, linges de maison et bien d’autres petites attentions! En pleine campagne mais centres commerciaux pas loin. Nous recommandons vivement !

Fabulous

Communication before the stay was excellent. Gite is better than the pictures. Plenty of storage space throughout. The two dogs are friendly but not a nuisance.The reviews are accurate. Peter and Laura are happy to help in any way they can. Great walking and cycling from the gite, lovely villages within 20 minutes drive. Large Super U with fuel station three minutes drive away. Highly recommended.

Que du bonheur

Grâce à Peter et Laura nous avons passé une très agréable semaine, ils sont vraiment "aux petits soins" pour les vacanciers et ne manquent d'aucune attention. Le gîte est un ancien bâtiment qu'ils ont entièrement rénové avec goût, de beaux volumes, des matériaux de qualité, et les équipements ne manquent pas. On peut profiter pleinement de la piscine chauffée, des vélos mis à disposition, des boules de pétanque, et si on souhaite s'initier au golf c'est possible, grâce au super professeur ! Peter et Laura sont anglais et parlent couramment le français, alors n'hésitez pas à venir les voir pour qu'ils puissent perfectionner davantage la langue de Molière, ils sont demandeurs......... De beaux petits villages aux alentours et de belles balades à faire, et au calme !

What can we say? Thank you just isn't enough. You are both the most amazing hosts. We loved every minute of being at your wonderful house. You deserve 5 stars for everything and more. Every detail for our comfort and enjoyment was attended to. From the moment we arrived after a long journey, your warm welcome made us relax into holiday mode immediately(helped along by the lovely glass of rosé!) The house is so comfortable, cool, immaculately clean....even phone chargers by the bed and music in every room! A delicious supper had even been left in the fridge so we didn't have to cook on our first evening. We were spoiled for sure. The outdoor area is fantastic and always ready for us in the morning, cushions on seating and loungers, pool cleaned and up to temperature( being heated was just bliss), sitting under the vine with a glass of something cold looking across the lovely gardens, is just heavenly! The extra facilities you provide really helped make our stay even more special. The golf simulator, gym, petanque court and more are there for guests sole use! What a bonus! An even bigger bonus are your beautiful dogs, Max and Ruby, we miss them and send them hugs, they too are very special. Your kindness for driving us to the train station and picking us up again, inviting us to join your petanque nights with your local group, our chats, the golf.....I could write a book! Your knowledge of your local area and beyond and very obvious love and regard for the place you now call home and the friendships you have made are an inspiration for anyone wanting to make the move to this beautiful part of France. Have we said enough? No for sure. But finally we will urge anyone looking for a lovely home to relax in and enjoy wonderful surroundings and genuinely good, kind and caring people to welcome you and do whatever they can to help you have a marvellous time, do not hesitate. The world needs more people like Peter and Laura. Thank you is not enough. We will return asap.
