Condominio frente a la playa 'Ahoy Story' a solo pasos de la arena

Bienvenido a nuestra segunda casa: un condominio frente al mar que llamamos "Ahoy Story". Nuestro espacio de vacaciones es la Unidad 202 en el famoso Sea Gypsy, ubicado en Lincoln City, donde el famoso río D se encuentra con el Océano Pacífico.

Nuestro condominio puede dormir a cinco personas cómodamente en dos áreas separadas para dormir. Tenemos una suite frente al mar con un sofá cama queen. En el dormitorio principal tenemos una cama queen increíblemente suave y una cama individual también. Cada lado de nuestro condominio tiene su propio baño privado.

Si hay alguien en su familia que le gusta cocinar, ofrecemos una cocina completa con horno, microondas, nevera y lavavajillas. Se proporcionan todos los utensilios de cocina, platos y utensilios. Nos quedamos en nuestro condominio a menudo y cocinamos todo el tiempo, por lo que no escatimamos detalles.

Nuestra sala de estar tiene el sofá cama, una silla reclinable, una chimenea eléctrica y una mesa de comedor justo frente a nuestras ventanas frente al mar. Puedes sentarte aquí durante todo el día y observar las ballenas migratorias, focas de puerto, leones marinos y otras sorpresas. Hemos visto migrar orcas y hay un águila calva que ocasionalmente hace un cameo.

Nuestro condominio está en el extremo norte de Sea Gypsy, cerca del más corto de los tres puntos de acceso a la playa. El nuestro está a solo seis pasos de la arena. Desde la playa frente a nuestra unidad, puede caminar 3 1/2 millas en cualquier dirección. Si camina hacia el norte, encontrará piscinas naturales de mareas a solo 10-15 minutos de distancia. Al sur se encuentra el famoso río D, donde los niños pueden jugar en el agua hasta los tobillos.

Si no te gusta chapotear afuera, date un chapuzón en nuestra piscina cubierta de agua salada. Está abierto desde las 9 a. metro. a 10 p. m., 365 días al año. También hay una sauna seca en nuestra sala de billar. Los huéspedes de Sea Gypsy también tienen acceso a un servicio de lavandería y algunas parrillas de barbacoa al aire libre.

Beautiful place. My only issue is the bed is raised. At 4'11" I had a hard time getting into it. A family with 3 kids was staying in the condo above us and were very noisy. But again the condo was well equipped and gorgeous

Overall, satisfied. I’d recommend adding a couple of bed pillows to the closet for the sofa bed. The linens for the sofa bed include two pillowcases, but no bed pillows.

Well Stocked Condo in Prime Beachfront Location

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is outstanding—right on the beach with breathtaking sunsets, and just a short five-minute drive to shopping and local attractions. Parking was easy and close to the unit, which made unloading luggage simple. The condo was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook meals for our family, and having on-site laundry was a convenient bonus.The building itself is older, so some noise from neighboring units was noticeable. The primary bed felt a bit unstable, and the showers could have been cleaner. That said, the condo was overall comfortable and functional, and we had a great experience. We would consider staying here again!

Great view

We very much enjoyed our stay. The property is in a great location and the view is spectacular. Our issue was the TV in the bedroom did not work and the mattress seems very old. We moved to the sofa bed to see if that was better and we could watch TV, but it was not. The sofa sleeper is very old and uncomfortable. We would stay again if the mattress was replaced and the TV fixed.

My spouse and I enjoy the Sea Gypsy. The location in proximity to the ocean and shopping/restaurants work well for us. It's been clean and affordable every time we've stayed there.

Constantly a great stay

This is our second June in a row staying at the Sea Gypsy Ahoy Story room and both times have been great experiences. The room is clean and the location in great (especially for the little ones that don't like a long walk to the beach). We look forward to staying again in the future.

Perfect for our Stay

My spouse and I booked the condo for a quick getaway. First impressions were good, but the room itself was better. It was clean and well maintained, with beautiful views. We didn't cook while staying there, but everything we used worked well. The kitchen featured full-size stove/range, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and coffee pot, in addition to dinnerware, silverware, cookware, etc. Everything you could need. The two bathrooms were also clean and well maintained, as well as stocked with the amenities you'd expect. Check-in and check-out instructions were easy to follow. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Last minute Summer getaway

Decided to have some mommy/kiddo bonding time with my 4 kids before school starts next week. The rental at the sea gypsy was perfect..right on the beach, beautiful views and super relaxing. We had the best time and would definitely stay here again!

Great location!

We had a great stay, the location is just stunning with amazing views on a beautiful beach. The condo was very clean and well stocked, I found everything I reached for including some fun bonuses like games and puzzles. A few comments, while the beds were quite comfy the sofa bed was not super comfortable on my aging back, as expected. Not a complaint, just something to consider. Likewise the posting states something like it is 6 steps from the beach, the building is 6 steps from the beach but this unit is on the second story. Overall, we had a great stay and would stay again!

Right Next to the Beach!!!!

We couldn't have asked for better. We loved the ease of checking in and checking out. We absolutely LOVED the ease of walking onto the beach. Everything was so perfect and we hope to stay there again!!!

Wonderful location, beautiful condo and great amenities

We really enjoyed this condo, right on the beach, with very easy access to the beach. The views were phenomenal. I loved that it was right next to the D River. The condo was very nice, well decorated and 99.9% clean (found a couple of random things on the floor like a pen or puzzle piece). There were beach toys, games, pool noodles and other nice additions to the room. The kitchen was well stocked with things you would need to cook. We liked just about everything about this condo and location is wonderful - central to everything in Lincoln City! The only drawbacks: We were on 2nd level and the noise is a bit annoying at times, especially night. You can hear everything above you and you can hear people walking and talking outside your room. I had a sound machine so my daughter still slept soundly. The other drawback was the wifi was not super great, but we didn't use it much anyway. Also, the pool is NOT heated. The first time we went in it was really cold, and the maintenance guy showed up quickly to heat it up for us. The second time it was warmer, but still not 'heated'. The lobby said that it is like an HOA and they have to wait for the maintenance man to show up. We still swam and had fun, but it would've been more enjoyable if it was warmer. Everything else was wonderful and we would still stay there again, even with these few small things. Looking forward to the next stay!

Wonderful view

Yes the view is amazing!! The condo is in good condition and has a beach flare to it. The building is old on the outside but new on the inside. This means the walls are not as sound prof as a newer building. In the bedroom there was a bit of noise from the neighbors and people outside so we slept on the sofa bed in the living room and it was much better.

It was an awesome place to stay the views were amazing the room was clean and roomy. Little disappointed that the pool was freezing cold and the second day are here wouldn't shut off but the manager on site was amazing and helping us get it figured out.

Would rent again in a heartbeat

The owners were nice and well organized. Was an easy process from beginning to end. Not the most sound proof, but wasn’t bothersome at all. All the kids above us were active. Lol. I brought a friend down that list both of his sisters to cancer in a 3 week span. Was a perfect getaway.

View was priceless!

Property was awesome. View was gorgeous. Walls were a little thin and the ceiling fan in the living room didn't work. Overall i still give 5/5.
