A lovely property to stay at. I'm very pleased I chose the Duke William. Close to all the places we wanted to visit. The property its self and the area full of history. Amazing room and great breakfast.

Was Avery pleasant and up to date old hotel. Staff were most helpful. Parking was great. Breakfast was just right. Dinner was good. Pub was crowded when we arrived but when we returned from our evening walk around the cathedral it had cleared out and we had a very pleasant evening

This place is awesome. We were only there for one night but I wish we’d stayed for more. Our room was cozy, shower was amazing, pub and restaurant are the kind of place I never want to leave. Staff were friendly and courteous. Entire property is full of history and character. Location couldn’t be better just steps from restaurants and major Lincoln attractions.

Full of character, comfortable, polite & friendly staff. Only drawback was shower could have been more powerful, carpets along communal hallways was water stained in places, but none of these were a deal breaker for staying there again.

What's not to like we love this place great location lovely breakfast, premium room we stayed in was lovely spacious room, king size bed was very comfy,staff and service we're brilliant to top it off it's a good pint as well, would highly recommend 👍

Well-placed for visiting Lincoln cathedral
A lovely overnight first visit to Lincoln. Perfectly placed for exploring the city at the right end of town for visiting the castle and cathedral. Breakfast was lovely

Excellent stay
Great stay. Rooms a little small but large king bed which was very comfortable. Lovely hospitality tray and a well equipped modern bathroom. The staff worked extremely hard but always with a smile on their faces and a friendly attitude. Overall a great option for a day or two in Lincoln

Fantastic stay
An amazing stay as usually can't fault this place amazing staff super friendly cant do enough for you the room was spotless as usually loved our cookie was a lovely touch .Had a meal in the restaurant which was outstanding as always the meals are always 5star and the breakfast was superb as always compliments to the chefs .

Lovely hotel
The hotel was lovely and cannot complain about our room or breakfast We did have a drink in the bar, however the young barman ran last orders at 22.15 on a Saturday night. He turned away 2 couples who walked in wanting a drink We were told by receptionist when checking in last orders are around 23.00 and probably close at 23.30. It was clear the young bar man wanted to close up early so he could go out with his friends at the bar. We did speak to the manager who did listen and we were served again as well as another 2 people who had walked in at 22.40. This was the only disappointment. Otherwise would recommend this lovely bar and hotel for drinks and food.

A wonderful stay during the festive period and the staff could not be more helpful. I was very happy with the food, bar and restaurant service and check in was great too. The manager and her team are brill. We will return!

"I can't fault the room, it was clean and comfortable. However, the bathroom mirror light was broken and it was very noisy as it overlooked the outside heated area. Additionally, there was no double glazing. The breakfast was below average with half a dried tomato, a burnt mushroom, and a dry egg pancake which was supposed to be scrambled. The bacon was dry and hard and the sausage was very small. On the other hand, the evening meal at the hotel was excellent. Although I paid £150 for a bed and breakfast, I don't think it was worth this price. Nevertheless, the location was perfect."

Hotel was lovely and fabulous staff. Spacious and clean room. Lovely bathroom. The breakfast was the best ever!! One problem was the mattress was very hard so made for an uncomfortable nights sleep.

One night stay for business. Nice old listed Inn that has been tastefully decorated. Room had massive bed and nice bathroom. Both were spotlessly clean. Only two points to note: a power cut had knocked out the boiler and there was no hot water, however, once reported to the staff, they were quick to rectify. Second was the restaurant- didn’t have first choice of main meal even though it was a quiet Tuesday night. Second choice was pretty average. Breakfast, on the other hand was pretty decent. Staff were friendly and efficient.
