When we booked this Inn it was a traditional accommodation but was then taken over by new people who changed the format. So rather than be greeted and have breakfast it changed to an inn where there would be no breakfast and you’d get a PIN number to enter before your stay. We were a bit concerned but being 2 nights in the middle of a 3 week holiday we just went with it.
From the moment we received the email advising us of the changes to the moment we checked out the experience was actually the best we’ve ever had. We received the pin, which not only let us in to the inn but then into our room which was exceptional. Really well decorated, plush finishings, comfortable, spacious, everything looked new - towels were so soft and fluffy, the toiletries were good quality. We had snacks, coffee and water in our room and the internet service in our room was excellent.
The shared space downstairs had coffee, tea, chocolate, snacks, a sweet bar, fridge, ice. There was a dining and lounge area along with an outdoor seating area. There was soft music playing downstairs too. Lots of books and information available to read to help get the most out of your stay.
As we had booked when it served breakfast we also were given a gift card for the Moon Cafe so we could get breakfast should we wish to.
All in all excellent, I really think this is the way to go in the future. I just hope people that stay respect the property so it can continue to operate this way.
