“If you're looking for a real home away from home this property is your answer. The hosts were lovely, the beds incredibly comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked and being so close to the lake was incredible. We woke up to a deer in the backyard and enjoyed breakfasts and Dinners on the covered patio which was so perfect since it decided to rain most of our trip. Everything was easy as you'd hope your stay to be. We'd love to come back and enjoy a bit of a longer stay next time. ”

“This is a great hotel, but avoid Expedia, unless you get a really good price, otherwise, call and book with them. The hotel is neatly clean, the staff is friendly and the breakfast is complete!”

“We enjoyed the setting of this property. It is a beautiful old house. Our room was nice. It was refreshing to swim in the outdoor pool although there was rust on the ladder to get out, due to it being a salt water treated pool. Possibly nothing can be done about that. There is no A/C and our room was quite warm but the ceiling fan and extra floor fan helped. We were awakened, (way past the quiet hours which guests have signed that they would abide by), due to a bunch of loud, unruly guests who...

“Only thing missed is a magnified mirror in the bathroom to apply makeup. Usually mounted on the wall over the light switch. But everything else was great. I will definitely stay here again. ”
