"Lovely little motel with a great pool area and common grass area. Very close to the lake for swimming and walking or biking. Rooms are great for the price, not fancy. Very friendly staff"

"Even though there was construction on highway, right next to the room, they did not bother us at all. Liked the private beach access under the highway to enjoy the last of the beautiful weather that we got in September. Definately would stay there again and recommend to others. "

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the rooms were beautifully decorated and stocked with everything we needed, and the yard with games and a fireplace was such a treat. "This hotel sits directly across from a large park area with lots of grass and an off leash area for dogs. On the other side of the park is the beach and direct water access. The park is beautiful and well maintained so this is an excellent location. The room is large and has a separate bedroom area and a full kitchen. There is a TV in both the kitchen/living room area and another in the bedroom.
I was travelling with dogs and it was very convenience for them as well. I will definitely stay here again next I am coming through Penticton."
"My stay at the Valley Star Motel was pleasant. It’s an older property, but the refurbished room was spotless and tastefully simple, which I really appreciated. The room provisions were minimal but practical, including only essential toiletries, a desk, coffee maker, microwave, and fridge; essentially a tiny kitchen setup. The owner-operator who greeted me was kind and helpful. I would definitely stay here again."
"Wanda and Kelly are amazing hosts! We were welcomed warmly and that continued throughout our whole stay. Wanda made incredible breakfasts and I would highly recommend. Both Kelly and Wanda made it feel like home for a few days and I can’t wait for our next visit. Thank you both so much for a fantastic 4 days :) Their dogs and the deer were icing on the cake!!!"
