“We had a fabulous time at this home! What a perfect place to end summer! We had a great time reading on the dock, watching the sunset and the birds - including bald eagles! There are also lots of ways to enjoy the outside - firepit, grill, kayaks, crab traps, etc. And the beds are super comfy and the kitchen well outfitted for cooking delicious food. Truly a gem!”

“Ranch at Royal Oak is a great house with a spectacular host. The communication was stellar. The house is in excellent condition with everything you need right at the house. The kitchen is fully stocked with high end towels, linens, utensils, glasses, knives, bowls, plates, etc. The kids and adults loved the pool and fishing on the dock. “The Woodwind house is our absolute favorite home to stay in on the entire Eastern Shore area. We stayed in late August 2025, with family that included two elderly seniors and adults and teens, and two dogs. The check in process was smooth and exactly as described. We appreciated the comfortable beds and linens.The kitchen is well stocked and functions well.Simply and nicely decorated.We looked forward to kayaking and enjoyed that, but,it is quite mushy getting down and into the water. “Great property. Great host. Already booked it for next year. We have17 people in our family and this property was perfect for our large group. Great location on the River, property was huge. Plenty of room for my grandchildren to play wiffle ball and catch. Great fishing, my sons and grandchildren caught a bunch of stripers. Kitchen was well stocked, filtered tap water and a large ice maker. Highly recommended.”

“Thank you for sharing your space with us, we had a lovely stay at the Waterfront Property. Very homey decor. The carriage house was very nicely built! Everything was well equipped and comfortable! We enjoyed time on the Kayaks and on the back patio during morning and sunset, saw a few cool birds! Thank you. **However, the stairs in the main house were tricky, with no railing- could be difficult for those with mobility issues or need bathroom during the night. **”
