“We enjoyed our stay in Kingley, although felt that the property could do with some extra tlc, especially regarding carpets and window fittings. It would also have helped if there had been a sofa bed in the study, as we had two boys who did not wish to share a double bed and we had two girls in the twin bedded room.. A good size garden and patio, although lack of umbrellas meant that we needed to move the furniture around to avoid the (very hot) sun. Easy to access Chichester, the beach at...

“It is a peaceful haven in a beautiful setting. Very amenable hosts and the cottage was very well appointed. Great for bird watching too.”

“A deceptively large house which has been beautifully updated. The back dining/kitchen area is lovely. Cute courtyard garden. The car park space is very small and difficult to access. Very close to town centre which was great. Easy to walk into town. Would stay again.”

“Comfortable dwelling in a beautiful quiet location. Short walk to the roman villa and or the south downs way.”

“Away from all traffic with lovely views this well equipped apartment provides an ideal base for West Sussex and Surrey. The kitchen is particularly good and we much enjoyed our second stay here.”

“Lovely place to stay nice and quiet Lovely views clean and tidy will Definitely recommend to family and friends”

“My family of 4 (including kids aged 5 and 8) had an incredible time at the Cottage over the course of 4 nights. Our stay coincided with a period of warm weather so we got to enjoy beautiful summer evenings strolling about on a countryside estate watching foxes play on the adjacent field. My kids enjoyed picking strawberries from the garden and bouncing on the trampoline. The cottage itself was cozy,...

“This turned out to be a home away from home. Our hosts were superb, making sure we settled in and were comfortable. There were lots of little details that made our stay enjoyable and memorable. Items such as the history, displays, wildlife and so forth. The only true and meaningful compliment that we can offer is: Would we return? Absolutely. In fact, we are already starting our plans for that return trip.”

“Wonderful quiet location - perfect for a retreat and with plenty of space.”
