Bright Alfama Loft with Mezzanine | Guest Inn
- - Building & Access
The apartment is on the third floor of a traditional building without an elevator.
Access involves several flights of stairs, which are steep in places. This home may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility, very young children or heavy luggage.
Rua de São Miguel is pedestrian-only directly outside the building. Cars can stop on the nearest main road, followed by a short walk through Alfama’s narrow streets.
- Living & Dining Area
The bright main living area features high ceilings, original exposed wooden beams, a sofa bed, TV and dining table for four.
French doors open towards the traditional street below, bringing natural light and a direct connection to the everyday rhythm of Alfama.
- Main Sleeping Area
One double bed is located in a separate sleeping area connected to the kitchenette and bathroom.
This is not a fully independent enclosed bedroom, so it is best suited to guests who are comfortable with a more open layout.
- Mezzanine Sleeping Area
A second double bed is located in the mezzanine.
The mezzanine is accessed by a steep ladder and has low ceiling height due to the sloped roof. It is suitable only for agile guests who are comfortable using a ladder and sleeping in a low-height space.
- Kitchenette
The compact kitchenette includes a fridge, cooktop, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster.
- Bathroom
The bathroom includes a shower.
