Unless you are coming to Lisbon to Party all night DO NOT stay here. It's in South Chiado in the party district and there is loud booming bass in the apartment until 3:00 am, minimum, every night of the week. We came with our small children and they didn't advise us of this in advance. We were disturbed every night. There was also noise from the neighbors moving furniture at all hours. Yet, they admonish the guest to be quiet as part of their house rules. Aside from the nightly noise, the host will give you one towel per person for the entire stay, regardless of length. I asked for more towels and they wanted to charge a fee, FOR TOWELS, and the ones that they do give you are the size of floor mats and of the poorest quality, so we had to buy our own. One pillow per person, as well. They had other pillows in the apartment, but no pillow cases. I had to ask for those, as well. Those were given without a fee. The apartment is beaten up, and there was a black substance around the window in one of the bedrooms that appeared to be mold, which is scary and putting people's health at risk. The drains were clogged and we had to have a plumber come out in the middle of our stay. The laundry machine is listed as an amenity, but it is a combo washer/dryer and will not dry your clothes, no matter how long you put them in the machine, and another house rule is to limit the use of water so they don't want you using it essentially. These issues aside, the apartment is well located for walking and spacious and has good natural light.
