    Sandra and Eduardo are waiting for you with Portuguese flavors to taste, a delicious champagne Sangria with red fruits to celebrate your holiday. Welcome! Be our guest!
    This beautiful house, built in the 1930s, was completely renovated in 2016. It is a designer house with a new interior, but with all the charm of a traditional Portuguese house. Every detail has been made with LOVE. It is located in the Banzão-Colares pine forest (Sintra), in a very private and safe area, surrounded by the beauty of Sintra forest. Wonderful beaches and many historical sites are very close. You can walk or cycle on the beach.
    This two story house can accommodate 11 guests with every comfort. The first floor has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The second floor has three more bedrooms and two bathrooms. Three crib or infant beds are available upon request. There are two living rooms (one with smart tv), a dining room and a fully equipped kitchen.
    The doors are open to the living room, with garden furniture, an outdoor dining table and chairs, a kitchen near the barbecue, surrounding a beautiful pool (8 X 4 Mts) WITH FENCE PROTECTION, with 8 sun loungers + 4 garden chairs with towels.
    Heated pool on request (Pool heating: EUR 25 extra charge per day). Pool heating depends on weather conditions - usually possible from April until October.
    We have an additional bike rental service. It's great to go to the beach and restaurants by bike.
    For children, but also for adults, we have a separate games room near the garden with ping pong and badminton. We have a children's playground in the 16 m2 garden and a wooden house that the kids will love!
    Imagine sitting by the pool, having your breakfast and planning an exciting day exploring Sintra, the nearby towns and historic villages.
    It is our intention to provide everything you need to experience the best of Portugal!
    For periods longer than 6 days, our housekeeper cleans the house and provides clean towels in the middle of your stay.
    Taxi service available: from 1 to 4 people 50 € total. From 5 to 8 people 80 € total (Airport to Barca Charmhouse and vice versa).

TODO MARAVILLOSO

Hemos estado 4 dias y la experiencia es de 100 en todo. Los dueño un encanto. Te enseñan y explican todo a la perfección y te reciben con comida típica de alli. La casa una pasada, las habitaciones amplias con colchones y almohadas super comodas. Todo lo necesario para pasar unos dias. Papel higienico, de cocina, toallas, ...El exterior super chulo para hacer barbacoa y que los niños juegen con todo lo que tienen.Tienen bicis que se pueden utilizar para ir a la playa y hacer una mini excursion con los niños. Muchas gracias por todo, de seguro que si volvemos a esa zona, repetiremos con voaotros. Sois encantadores.Besos Elena, familia y amigos.

Great place to stay. Very quiet. A short uber rid to Lisbon or Sintra and we didn't have any trouble getting them quickly. Grocery store and several restaurant are walkable. The view is spectacular!

A fabulous quirky house ideally situated for a perfect family holiday. The outdoor kitchen has everything you need and more, we made full use of it and apart from sleeping we spent all our time outside.Sandra was the ideal host and kept checking we were ok and giving advice on where to eat etc. Thoroughly recommend

Perfekt boende för storfamiljen! Huset och poolområdet är finare än vad bilderna visar. Perfekt med många badrum och utekök. Sandra var en jättebra värd som lät oss checka in tidigare än utsatt tid, vi möttes av välkomstmingel och fick en massa bra tips på restauranger. Kontakten med värden var smidig inför och under vistelsen. Ett ytterligare plus var att vi fick låna handdukar till poolen och huset var utrustat med en del sortiment till köket och rena handdukar, hygienartiklar när det behövdes. Huset ligger mycket nära stor mataffär och trevliga restauranger. Hyr bil och det finns massvis med stränder och utflykter att ta sig an.

Great home!

We had a great time. The neighborhood was quiet, the pool was lovely, and the hosts were fantastic. Will definitely recommend.

Leuk ingericht huis, prima voorzieningen. Sommige badkamers mogen wel een opknapbeurtje hebben, maar voldoende warm water. We hebben uitgebreid gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad. Dichtstbijzijnde strand op 2,5 kilometer. De kamers waren prima schoon. De gastvrijheid was prima.

Everything was clean and cozy. We loved the outdoor kitchen and the playing area for the kids. Sandra was a great hosts- trying everything to make us happy. Some plants in the garden are a bit dangerous for little children, though

Wonderful Stay in Colares

It was a wonderful location and we had a great trip, especially with such wonderful and responsive hosts. The only issue we had was plumbing/ventilation of the three bedrooms downstairs could have been improved because of all the rain.

Brilliant!

Superb hosts, very friendly and helpful. always on hand to offer tips about the area or house. The villa is in an excellent location, close to beaches, lovely towns like Sintra very close and Lisbon is even close enough for visits . Colares was perfect for our family as it had everything with needed. The house was well equipped, the WiFi was good. We loved the pool and bbq area. Would defo stay again.

Barca Charm House in Colares

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. The owners were so helpful as soon as we booked it. Sent us many ideas for things to do while we were in Portugal and greeted us with a delicious pitcher of Sangria and some local treats. This was our first experience with Vrbo and we were very happy!

As good as it looks!

The house if just as friendly and fun as it appears in the photos. The air here is filled with birdsong and the property provides more facilities than we could ever use. The hosts welcomed us warmly and seemed available for anything we may need. This place is a great find.

This was so much fun staying here, we really enjoyed it!Sandra was extremely responsive and helped us a lot with planning transport ahead of the trip. She also prepared some amazing food for our arrival as well as arranging a meal one of the evenings at our request. We were three families travelling with four young children and the house was set up perfectly for our needs with plenty of ways to keep the children entertained. The only reason for the lower vote was that we found some of the local restaurants weren’t very welcoming to young families - for a group of adults I think it would be a good area to stay in.

All the reviews were true! Sandra and Eduardo own a perfect place for a group vacation. Their hospitality is first class and they are very concerned about their guest’s well being. The pool and outside dining area were wonderful. The location is very convenient for a wide range of activities. I based my choice of this house on reviews and we were not disappointed. Perfect family vacation stay

A Barca charm house was the perfect place for our entire family to enjoy a week in beautiful Portugal. Sandra and Eduardo are the most charming hosts and so helpful. The house was supplied with everything we needed, clean, comfortable, and gorgeous. There are bikes, games, toys and an awesome heated swimming pool. So close to all the major sites and beaches. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay!

The photos do not do the property justice - particularly the outdoor areas. It is so beautiful. Sandra is a very accommodating host, allowing us to check in early due to our flight arrival time and was there to greet us when we did arrive. Sandra was very easy to stay in touch with and answered all my questions very promptly. We cannot thank Sandra enough for the wonderful stay we had in a Barca charm house and would not hesitate to recommend anyone stay here!

Accueil chaleureux!

Nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux à notre arrivée avec une foule de petites attentions! La maison jaune a su plaire à toute la famille! Nous avons trouvé que la maison était très bien équipée. Les hôtes nous ont transmis plusieurs astuces pour faire de notre séjour un succès. Merci à Sandra et Eduardo :)

The best hosts ever! 5 stars!

The hosts were absolutely incredible from the moment we booked till the moment we left - they went above and beyond! Nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel so at home and comfortable. The house was fantastic and so easy to get everywhere by bus or walking. Beach and playgrounds! The kids loved playing in the pool and the sandpit and the little houses. We had such a lovely stay - thanks so much both! Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful house with amazing hosts

We loved our stay here. They had thought of everything and we felt so comfortable and welcome. When we arrived our hosts made us some delicious Portuguese food and drink which made the start of our holiday even more special. The pool and outside dining area were the highlights for us, we spent many happy hours here. The location is perfect for visiting local beaches and exploring nearby historic places of interest. We had one car but found walking to the beaches and nearby supermarket very easy. We will be back. Highly recommended.
