Lovely apartment in the historic district

Beautiful apartment that was clean, well appointed and as advertised. The property managers were very responsive and helpful. As mentioned, it’s on a pedestrian street so you have to walk a couple blocks to get there but it was easy to use the metro and catch uber a couple blocks away. And don’t ignore the mentions about the stairs. There are 80 steps and it’s a historic building so so they are narrow. But the view is worth it! Be sure to check out Baia Do Peixe restaurant in the square. Amazing seafood very well priced. And Brew for local craft beers.

Much tighter and darker than expected

Check in was fine, though we would have appreciated someone meeting us and helping us up the many narrow, shallow and steep stairs. Our place was much darker and much less spacious than shown in pictures. The bed is a double as stated and comfortable enough, but the duvet was filthy, smeared with makeup and sweat stained, obviously not washed and changed out in a long time. The shower floor felt like it was going to cave in so we stepped very gingerly and the grout has black mold. On the positive we had a small kitchen with espresso machine and a washer.

Perfectly central for all day trips and local exploring!

We had a lovely stay here. It was central. I needed to take a few meetings and the internet wifi was 480 mbps I think I remember. Great for all our day trips, walkable to the ocean and alfama

A gem of a location and perfect charming apt

We had a lovely stay in Lisbon. The location was perfect overlooking a pedestrian neighborhood filled with quaint restaurants and shops. Close to all modes of transportation. The apt was charming, clean, and we fell in love… Just to know- its up 4 flights of steep stairs. A bit short of breath at top. Not for those w knee or weight concerns. Otherwise, would highly recommend!

Fabulous Location

The apartment was everything that was promised in the VRBO listing. Comfortable, clean, airy and bright. Super with good, reasonable, amenable restaurants right outside the door and handy to the Christmas market and the hop-on hop-off bus. The only downside was it was up eight flights of stairs with a total of 100 stairs. It was great for my cardio, however!

Excellent location; stairs only drawback

Great location; cute apartment; all as listed. The stairs are the only drawback and would be a challenge for someone lacking a basic level of fitness. But anyone who is considering booking the place has been sufficiently notified from the listing itself and from the reviews.

Nice area to stay

It was nice and a good place to stay for the price. I had to ask for sheets for the other bed and towels since we were staying for 5 days. I also would have like to have had moee than one small pillow per bed. I also had to contact the manager because the shower clogged. Small things that would have made it more comfortable.

Great location!!! Could walk everywhere which was great! Stairs were a challenge, need to be in shape to handle them. AC worked great and kitchen was well equipped for some simple meal prep.

Great location

The apartment was as advertised and clean. It was in a great location with tons of restaurants and shops, it was right around the corner from the famous elevator. The only issue we had was that the place was in an area that didn’t allow cars so it was difficult to get a driver to pick you up because they couldn’t get to your address, have to go out to get bolt.

The photos and description are accurate and as other indicated there are many steps to get to the 5th floor not for someone with mobility issues or older travellers. That said, I have to say that I was disapointed to see that all of the restaurants not only take advantage of the tourists but unashamedly gouge them. We found that the prices for pretty simple food and cheap wine was higher than those found in the south of France. However we found that the Portuguese people were very friendly and helpful.

Lisboa Charm

The area we stayed was convenient and near so many wonderful places to eat and explore. The apartment was clean and the appliances were new and very helpful. The one "hitch" is the apartment is up 5 flights of narrow stairs. This was difficult to maneuver with luggage, packages and food. 5 flights of stairs should be the lead in the listing.

Great Location for a couple days

Small, but big enough for a few days. Sunny, cozy. Two big windows with very small balconies that you can stand on, but not sit. On a street with a lot of restaurants and it was loud on the nearby streets but it was pleasant as it floated up to our place. Walking up 5 flights with luggage was VERY CHALLENGING. Be aware of this. The restaurant immediately next door was good - we had wine and tapas there. Very friendly and small compared to the others on the street which are very touristy. We were able to walk everywhere from our location. Also note that the street is pedestrian only most of the time. This is great but a taxi won’t be able to pick up or drop off in front.

Too small and old

The condo is a studio turned into 2 bedroom somehow. Very old electrical system, the teapot constantly blew the circuit. Zero communication after check in.
