Beautiful and Cozy

Stayed for a week in this great little walk up. Clean, cool, and right in the center of town! Loved being able to open the doors to the balcony and enjoy the sounds and scenery. Highly recommend!

Too much!

I’ve stayed in many properties in lisbon and I’m afraid this one wasn’t very good. It’s not far from Rossio square but it’s up a very steep hill. Then inside the property there are quite steep steps both inside and outside the property. Anyone with mobility issues should certainly avoid! Also the lock took some getting used to as they were both digital codes! And you better get them right! Do we not bother with physical keys any more?! I’m afraid I couldn’t recommend.

Okay stay

I was not very impressed with my stay at this condo. The communication was decent but I was not aware that the office where you have to pick up the keys is about 15 minutes drive from the condo. With having a rental car, it required me to park, I brought all my luggage inside the office, and then had to bring it all back to my car to drive to the unit. I don’t recommend staying here if you have a rental car. The street it’s on is incredibly narrow and there isn’t really any close parking/area to unload. As for the condo, several of the doors did not lock properly, including the front door and the bathroom door (which leaves it sliding open). There was an AC unit but the bedroom remained incredibly hot even with the unit on and it was uncomfortable to sleep. The shower handle was broken and did not drain very well, and the towel smelt a little musty. The location is decent and some restaurants near by. It was fine for a night but overall we were not very comfortable and would not stay again.

Ups and Downs

Let’s start with the positives: it’s very clean, and looks just like the pictures. Decent location and easily accessible by the metro. The air conditioning works. The wifi works. Host is very responsive and even met us at the airport to give us the keys so we could go directly to the property. Now the negatives: Lowkey was hard to find the exact apartment because the numbers on the street do NOT go in order. The doors are VERY VERY hard to open. Every time we came back to the property it was truly a battle to open the building door and the door to the actual apartment. Like using all our strength and force to pull the door open and it still not working for several minutes. Keeping on the door theme, the bathroom door is very touchy with closing completely and it’s hard to do by yourself. The shower door is a little messed up and won’t close completely either. We also had to stop mid shower to let the water drain. The towels were a weird shade of gray that seem like they’re supposed to be white and one of them had a hole. The sheets were thinner than a piece of paper and the pillow options consisted of hard, lumpy sacks. While the air conditioning worked, the upstairs loft area where the bed is was BOILING as the air conditioning doesn’t seem to really reach up there.

Host is a scammer!!!!!

We traveled from San Diego, CA to Lisbon Portugal. I secured this VBRO a couple weeks before arrival. I went to a building off site to check in, paid my balance in full. Had my driver waiting during this process. Obviously had to pay him extra for the wait time. Finally got to the property and there were 2 ladies cleaning!!! The place smelled like mold and it was a completely different unit that I paid for and was promised!!! Not to mention it was on the first floor and directly outside were several bars with very loud and intoxicated people blocking my door and right under our window! I immediately text Lara the host and she sent me this made up ridiculous excuse about why we were put in this unit instead of the one we paid for and specifically picked out! She told me we were lucky they could put us in this unit due to the wild story she told me about not being able to enter the unit we paid for due to legal reasons. I told her this unit was unacceptable and asked if she could find us another unit like the one we originally chose. She told us they were all sold out we would have to stay there. I told her we could not and this was her companies fault and she needed to figure something out for us. She said she would refund our money. I told her thank you and that was that. No other words were discussed. We had no where to go and I personally thought she was letting us stay in the unit at least for the night for a customer service gesture. We went to eat and came back and there

When I arrived, the apartment looked nothing like the photos. It hadn’t been cleaned: there was a lot of mold in the bathroom (on the shower and walls), the shower and bathroom doors didn’t close properly, and there were hairs everywhere — on the floor, on the towels, and even on the sheets. It was clear the place hadn’t been vacuumed or properly maintained. I would also recommend improving staff communication. They often blamed WhatsApp connection problems, but a serious company would fix that or provide another contact number. For payments they are very prompt and want you to pay directly, yet when it comes to sending information or solving issues, everything is slow. Even though I told them in advance that I’d arrive late, they didn’t share the address or clear instructions until the last minute, and they even charge a late check-in fee. When I paid with my husband’s card, they insisted he had to be present — something that has never happened at any other hotel, not even at Disney Paris. I do want to acknowledge that the staff were kind and polite, and I appreciate their effort and friendliness. However, all the other issues mentioned above took away many points from the overall experience. Overall, the cleanliness was very poor, and the listing felt like a “catfish”: the photos online don’t reflect the real condition of the property.

Coquet appartement proche de tout

Appartement aménagé avec goût, proche des centres d'intérêt, attention ca grimpe quand même. Les petits restos qui ne payent pas de mine, un peu plus bas dans la rue en allant vers Rossio sont top.
