The house is just 600 meters from the beach of the Apples where you can find good restaurants that offer the traditional and much appreciated Portuguese gastronomy (fish and seafood) cafes, bars, discos, tennis court, pharmacy, mini market, DVD / Video Club, MultiBanco , SURF shop and school among other facilities.

A tram connects between Praia das Maçãs and Sintra (World Heritage declared by Unesco) and you can easily visit its Botanical Gardens and historical monuments such as the Castle of the Moors, Capuchos Convent, Monserrate Palace, Sintra's National Palace , Palace of the Regaleira, Palace of Pena, Palace of Seteais, among others. Sintra is only 8 km away.

If you go to Cascais you can pass by Cabo da Roca (the most western point of Europe) with a magnificent view over the Atlantic Ocean. Continuing in the direction of Cascais you pass by the famous Guincho Beach where you can practice surfing, bodyboarding and Kyte surf.

In Azenhas do Mar, just 2.5 km away there is also an equestrian center where you can enjoy beautiful horse riding in our region.
