Great location and modern accommodations

Stayed with my wife and in-laws and loved it. The bedrooms are European sized and share a jack and jill bathroom. The place was modern and had everything we needed for our stay.

SCAM!! DO NOT BOOK HERE! We paid in full but they never gave us a code to the lockbox to pick up keys, so we had to pay extra to book other accommodations elsewhere. We even provided proof of payment but no one has contacted us to try to resolve. We went by their “office” several times during the weekend and weekday during our four days but no one man’s the office. Their phone number is disconnected so you cannot get a hold of them. We are still fighting to get our money back.

Great location, apartment not as described

The central location made walking and exploring the city easy and enjoyable. The inside of the apartment was clean but there was an air of neglect. The garden, something that was heavily featured in the listing and a key reason we booked looked nothing like the listing. It was overgrown with knee high weeds, dirty furniture and not the relaxing spot we were expecting. We contacted the property managers and the owner through the VRBO app to let them know but heard nothing back. Considering the state of the place it was overpriced and the listing was misleading.

Disappointing

The Good: The layout worked really well for my husband and 2 young kids, and I could tell it was once a really nice unit. We left the bathroom doors open so they were not scared sleeping in the other room. The location was very central with multiple grocery stores and a small playground within walking distance. There were a bunch of very well rated restaurants nearby as well. The Bad: Unfortunately I can confirm not only an air of neglect, but visible signs of it. It started off with a strange smell and the counter being really dirty when we arrived, and then we just started noticing a lot of damage and lack of maintenance around the unit. There were big brown spots on the wall in the big bathroom and next to the fridge that looked like water damage. Like another reviewer said, we were hoping to spend a lot of time in the garden but, although it kind of looked like the listing photos, it was really dirty and uninviting. AC worked but only stayed on for a few minutes before automatically turning off. On top of all that, you have to go their office that’s 15 mins away by bus to pick up the keys for the unit. We were told we could pick up the keys between a certain timeframe and when we got there, the keys were still being driven over by the cleaners. Given the location and listing photos, I really wanted to love this place, but it ended up being really disappointing.

Lovely flat but no working air con

We only booked this flat as it advertised having air con.. The location is great, but you can get cheaper flats here that dont have air con.. As soon as we arrived it was clear there was an issue...the temperature of the air from the unit was like from a fan and the unit turns itself off after about 15mins...every time! When we arrived the flat was really hot and it was obviously not going to be cooled by the air con.. The company got someone to come the next day which was great and said it was now ok, but when we returned to the hot flat...the air con was the same. I dont understand how he thought it was fixed when it did not give out cold air and kept turning itself off? I assume the company told him what the issue was so he knew to wait 15mins? There are street level windows in the bedrooms but they are not really designed to be used...you have to be over 6feet tall and climb on a chair to reach them. The dirt from the pavement blows onto the bed but we had no choice. The rest of the flat is lovely and location great. Having outdoor space is good too. If air con worked or was fixed next day, this flat would be 5 stars. They gave us a 20pc refund but it really affected our holiday in Lisboa ans also meant we were phoning and emailing the company a lit to get it sorted
