Good to Know

* Located on the 2nd floor of a historic building with no elevator; guests must climb stairs.
* Bairro Alto is a lively nightlife area, so some street noise may be heard, particularly in the evenings and at weekends.
* Due to the traditional plumbing system, toilet paper must be disposed of in the designated bin rather than flushed.
* Hot water is limited and may not be sufficient for several consecutive long showers.
* Car access is restricted and parking is limited and generally paid.

Chiado is one of the Lisbon's most sophisticated neighborhoods - perfectly located between the monumental area of Baixa and the bohemian nightlife of Bairro Alto.
You are also within a walking distance from all the main places to visit and from all the typical neighborhoods like Principe Real, Rossio, Castelo and Alfama. Here you will find historic monuments, breathtaking viewpoints, Fado houses and fancy bars and restaurants.

If you're arriving by plane from Aeroporto de Lisboa, there are some options to get to the apartment.

￫ Metro
The cheapest is by far the subway, with a 25-30 minutes ride. The closest subway station (Baixa-Chiado) is only 200 meters away from the apartment.

￫ Car
If you have a rental car, please notice that there's no free parking in the area.
Taxi or Uber are also possibilities to get to the apartment, but for a faster and easier arrival, book our Airport Transfer Service (subject to an extra cost).

→ The property is Self-Catered. Complimentary basic items are provided for your arrival, including first-day toiletries, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered on a welcome basis only - replacements or re-fills are not provided. All other items must be acquired by the guest.
→ Bed and bath linen are provided according to the number of guests confirmed in the reservation. For stays longer than 7 nights, extra linens will be provided.
→ The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers the check-out cleaning only. Extra cleanings or fresh linens can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be done with at least 24 hours in advance.
→ Check-in time starts from 16:00 to 22:00 (additional cost of 25€ for check-ins after 22:00). Only one set of keys will be provided.
→ We are obligated by Portuguese law to collect our guest's Passport information.
→ Check-out must be done until 11am. Before leaving, please place the keys on the main table.
→ During the stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving them in the lock or mailbox. In the event that a specialized technician is needed for door opening or in case of damage to the key and/or lock, the costs associated with this service will be the responsibility of the guest. In case of key loss, a penalty will be applied.
→ The property is equipped with noise decibel monitoring sensors. This system performs advanced analysis while ensuring the privacy of our guests, as no cameras are used, and no sound is recorded. Only noise levels are measured, thus guaranteeing the tranquility and comfort of everyone during their stay.
→ Crib and baby chair are available upon request and subject to an extra fee.
￫ For stays equal to or longer than 28 days, monthly consumptions exceeding €150 will be charged separately. By making the reservation, the guest agrees to these terms.
