Buckhorn Cove Ocean Front with Private Peninsula

  • This once-in-a-lifetime retreat offers unsurpassed views of the spectacular Mendocino coastline and iconic Buck Horn Cove. With over three acres, this property features a private peninsula where you can truly experience the power and beauty of the mighty Pacific. The main house includes three bedrooms, two downstairs, and a large primary suite on the second level with a private bath and balcony. There is also a private guest cottage that includes a freestanding gas fireplace and a private bath. The large deck has a sunken hot tub situated in the perfect location to relax and be mesmerized by the everchanging views. Because of the cliff-front location, there is a minimum age of 10 years and over required for any guests. Please note that the staircase at the top of the bluff is restricted, and no access is allowed.

Clean property. Smooth process. Quality amenities. Always little things one could note but we had a fabulous stay. And there is nothing like the stunning views and setting.

Our family came together from different parts of California to stay here, ages 80-11. . We had an amazing time!!! . Words can’t explain how gorgeous this place really is. The home was so spacious, yet welcoming and cozy. All of us would love to come back. Great memories were made here. Plus we got some amazing, one of a kind, family photos outside.

magical, stunning view!

Overall, we enjoyed Mendocino very much but the wind was a little tough. We were unable to sit on the deck as much as we would have liked. Also, our internet went out and the management was unable to fix the problem. They tried but it was still unfortunate. We think they should have contacted the provider. Still, we would recommend this property to anyone visiting Mendocino. Best view anywhere! We loved the Good Life Bakery and Cafe and also Luna Trattoria. Highly recommend. The cliff walk in Mendocino was breathtaking and we enjoyed Montgomery woods and the Skunk Train.

Annual vacation to Mendocino Coast

We have rented a vacation home along the Mendocino Coast for the past 29 years and this house is at the top of the list! The views, layout, cleanliness, attractions were all fantastic! We can't wait to visit this house again!

Having arrived in the middle of a storm, we were surprised and happy to find the house had back up power. While some things didn’t function, the majority of the house did. Heat, lights, hot water were not a problem.

breathtaking

great views of the best of the California coast. Really the most majestic views in the area. Property mangers great. House was outstanding. Probably the best hot tub I've ever been in.

Amazing spot!

Visited for my birthday and could not be happier with my visit. Even with the winter weather i was able to enjoy the views from the family room and the peninsula, in fact the weather made it even more dramatic! Cozy, warm, comfortable and still able to enjoy the ocean!

Wonderful house and amazing location

Stayed for 2 nights and the house was as described on the web site. Quiet location, great views, well stocked house and very comfortable. Would gladly come back.
