“Comfortable and great breakfast ”

“Excellently managed room, secondary glazing so absolutely no noises from the road. Slept very well, but i do think a kingsize bed would fit in the room. It could be a slight squeeze, in the main, very comfortable. Shower room absolutely spotless. Breakfast was super. Nicely cooked full english as well as cereals, fruit, yoghurt etc.., not too much on the plate but enough for a full day ahead. Good selection of teas.. “Everything was fine, the room quiet. well-ecorated, clean and warm and there were nice extras - orange juice and porridge oats and plenty of tea and coffee.However the en suite shower room was a tight fit for my husband who is 6'4" so we would check if there was a larger en suite another time.”

“The room was OK, but finding the hotel and finding the room within the hotel were both very difficult. They also asked for an additional card checking fee before check-in, though thankfully they waived this when we queried it. The remote check in made the start of the stay very stressful, but once we were in it was fine. There are some lovely period features in the property, but some of the paneling is actually wallpaper!”
