“Very charming staff, great breakfast as well as thoughtful service, sorted a breakfast for my hubby to go and even remembered the order next day. Room was lovely and toasty, just what you need after a frolick in the forest. Slept very well. Lots of walks nearby, even saw owls. EXCEPTIONAL food, rare for these days they cater for folks with proper appetites! Loved the friendly field cat! Thank you for a wonderful time we loved it. 🙏”

“The staff were really friendly and the room was really well appointed and clean. The breakfast was good too. The only drawback with this property is that the rooms are upstairs in a SUPER busy pub. There was a disco downstairs until 2am which there was no escaping from. Thankfully we were out at an event until late so we didn’t have to put up with it for too long and it was quiet once everyone had left.”

“We were generally disappointed with the hotel. We paid for a better bigger room but were placed at the top of the hotel with a reasonably sized room. Lots of furniture in it which made it feel cramped.
We think that a smell was being omitted from the air conditioner/ heater.
Bathroom was indeed of a make up. Rust marks from the towel rail, mould on the shower walls and in the grouting. The wood was desperately in need of being painted and the loo and basin were on a low ceiling side which meant...

“El lugar en sentido contrario al centro de la cd, está alejado, de noche se ve muy tétrico y solo, el personal muy amable y educado. El cuarto limpio. La TV no encendía y al comentarles me cambiaron de cuarto en cuanto lo constataron.
Desayuno bien. ”

“3 Pickerels is tucked away in the quiet countryside.
We arrived in the car park and walked through the main front door and found ourselves in the bar. It was next day we realised check-in was round the other side of the building, the sign wasn't obvious to us.
We received a warm welcome from staff and were shown to our room.
We were in Room 3 on the first floor; it's a lovely room, very airy and bright, overlooking the river somewhat. It also has a 'balcony'...basically French doors with a glass...
