Arrived 30 minutes before check-in and appreciated we were early.
We were told we couldn’t check in as there were others waiting but they would call us when we could and to wait in the bar which is at the reception area.
Others left the bar to check in and we were not called. Then people arrived and checked straight in. After this happened a couple of times, I asked if we could check in yet. We could! No apology for not calling us forward.
Room was dated and smelt of stale smoke in the bedroom area. The added living area of the ‘suite’ was a good space.
We tried to put the TV on in the bedroom area (to finish watching the rugby we had been watching whilst waiting), we could not get it to work.
This morning whilst trying to shower it was impossible. The shower head was completely broken with water gushing out in all directions, all over the bathroom floor. The water was coming from the seal between the pipe and the shower head.
You could not shower. We both had to have very quick baths so as not to delay our plans for the day.
Made reception aware upon check out to be told simply, they would tell maintenance and management.
No offer of anything despite us not having the basic ability to shower.
