The cottage is cozy and secluded. You have a large garden/nature plot of approx. 3000 m2 and close to forest and land. It has 2 bedrooms, a total of 7 beds of which 2 double beds and 2 single beds.



You have a sauna and relaxation room in the house. For colder evenings, there is a fireplace and a tiled stove. It is lovely to sit with a cup of coffee on the glazed veranda.



On the grounds there is also a gazebo where you can spend the summer evenings. There is also a paved terrace approx. 35 m2 with garden furniture and a pizza oven and grill.



The house has an air source heat pump with AC and electric radiators if needed. German TV as well as Swedish and English channels and Wifi are included. You live here approx. 2 km from Lake Bolmen. Lake Bolmen has good fishing and you can rent a boat and buy a fishing license at Bolmstad Säteri. Bolmen is Sweden's 10th largest lake and here there are plenty of zander, perch and pike.



There is a boat ramp down by Bolmstad harbour. At Bolmen you have several bathing spots. The closest is Mjälen, which is shallow with a lovely sandy beach and large grassy areas for play and games. You can also visit Lillasjön, which is not far from your accommodation.



To see and do in Ljungby and the surrounding area



The nearest shop is in Ljungby 13.8 km. There is shopping, restaurants and many museums here. There is a summertime cafe down by Bolmstad Harbor and several moose parks nearby. South of Ljungby in Hamneda, you can visit Elinge Älgpark and feed moose. At Markaryd there is also Smålandet, which has a moose safari and is worth a visit. so you should also take the opportunity to have a coffee at Gräddhyllans Lantcafe, which is very nice. In Lagan there is Slussen, which is a large second-hand shop. Ljungby also has plenty of secondhand. You can take your car over to the island of Bolmsö. Once you're out on Bolmsö, you can take a cable ferry over to Sunnaryd from the northern part.

The ferry is free and the car can also come along.

For another nice excursion destination, it is recommended to drive south and visit

Tiraholms Fisk, which is located on the eastern side of Bolmen in Halland. Here there is a nice farm shop as well as lake fishing, smokehouse, fish restaurant, hotel and conference. If you go about 8 km away, you will come to Unnaryd by lake Unnen. Store Mosse, High Chaparall and Hestra are excursion destinations within an hour's driving time and a day trip to Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby is of course a nice excursion destination with the children. If you want to swim in the sea, Halmstad and Tylösand are only an hour away.
