This BnB has become part of the Central hotel which is evidently being refurbished but this did not mar our stay in any way. The staff were fabulous and could not have done more to make our stay an absolute pleasure. The or mountainhotel was clean and quiet with lovely sea view rooms. The breakfast was perfect , well cooked, high quality produce and good portion options. We will be back in November and are already loiking forward to it.

was disappointed on arrival guy on reception new nothing about the parking which was by the way on see front and had to pay was led to believe they had parking .room was clean and bed was comfy but the room was tired there was a ceiling light which you could not turn off and was on all night. Was no one on reception all weekend that wee seen bar was not open and place was dead. Would not stay again but did have a great time in Llandudno.

Good location hotel was fine, clean and comfortable slightly dated but done the job on the seafront and room was very clean and accommodated a later check in

Fabulous, friendly place to stay
We stayed at Can-Y-Bae for a couple of nights away for our wedding anniversary. It was a last minute change as we had to change dates, but we are so pleased we did. David and Michael were so accommodating, even digging a keyring out of the liftshaft for us! The room was fabulous, with a stunning Welsh slate heart on the bathroom drawstring for the light. The whole building was clean and tidy, with personalised service wherever you went. The breakfast was lovely, and freshly cooked fried breakfast daily for those who want it. Definitely a great place to stay and will be back.

A littel Gem..
Can Y Bae is a super little BnB on the seafront. Michael and David are great hosts. The accommodation is clean and comfortable. There is a well stocked bar. The breakfasts were excellent too!! I was travelling on my own and but there were always a few guests willing to have a chat in the lounge. Thanks Gentlemen. See you soon.... Phil.

my favourite in Wales
I stayed many times in Llandudno. This however is my favourite B&B -- by far. Great location, great rooms, super breakfast and friendly hosts.

Amazing
An amazing hotel, the friendliest hotel i have ever stayed in. There is a cosy, friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in and this continues for the whole of the stay. I cannot recommend Can-Y-Bae highly enough.

Lovely relaxing stay!
We had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. The hotel was extremely clean and the rooms were comfortable. We enjoyed some lovely drinks in the bar area one evening, there was a great selection and reasonably priced. We will be back again soon. We also had a little Easter chocolate treat with breakfast, lovely touch!

Home from home
I have to thank David Michael and Ian, for the warm greetings and 5star service I was given. Everything was spotless and the bed really comfortable. There was everything you needed in your room including free water bottles and gingerbread men biscuits. The breakfast was superb and couldn't ask for a better service.. I hope to book again in November. I would give this 10 stars if I could.

Wonderful hosts
Enjoyed our stay wonderful hosts, very friendly and welcoming, breakfast was excellent. Tiny issue room 22 is fire escape and has green emergency light on ceiling in middle of room , this bathed the room in a green glare all night, guess it’s health and safety but was a little off putting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go again, but not in a fire escape room

We fully understand your comments regarding the emergency light (which we are obliged to have installed) .. the tiny LED lamp you mention demonstrates that the lamp is charged and working - unfortunately there is very little we can do in this regard. Maybe next time you come and stay with us if you were to call us directly in advance we might be able to offer an alternative room. We hope to be able to welcome you back to Can-Y-Bae next time you are visiting Llandudno.

Ideal location for a stay in llandudno, all the staff were incredibly friendly, parking was free at the front of the hotel after 4p.m. until 10AM. Nice well presented breakfast.

A lovely stay!
Had a lovely stay- made to feel very welcome and out at ease when travelling with a dog. Location is great- we had a lovely sea view too! Breakfast was nice- everything cooked well and lovely thick bacon. Room clean and functional. Would definitely recommend!

Car-Parking (especially during the summer months when Llandudno is very busy) can often be somewhat challenging .... but everyone in Llandudno is just so pleased to be able to welcome visitors back to the town after the lock-downs that the whole country have endured !! With regard to the room decor, we have tried to mix the contemporay with the traditional in order to preseve some of the quirky nature of the building - hopefully you will agree that the photos on the Expedia Group websites accurately reflect the rooms at Can-Y-Bae which you would have seen whilst you were choosing to stay with us.

Comfy, clean and convenient
Overall, a pleasant stay in this handily located hotel. The owners were very friendly and made us feel welcome right away. The breakfast was very tasty and well presented. The only negatives were in the en-suite bathroom where the shower, toilet and ventilation could have been better quality. Also the plug sockets in the room were hidden behind the bed. However none of this would deter us from staying here again.

Thank you very much for taking the time to review your stay with us; we are really pleased you enjoyed both your stay and breakfast. As you have noted there is no window in the en-suite bathroom but ventilation is provided by a (thankfully very quiet but efficient) ceiling extractor fan. The electrical sockets for the bedside lamps are, as you mention, located behind the bed - perhaps you didn't notice the additional 4 electrical sockets located at a handy height just above the chest of drawers (in between the television and the hospitality tray). Can-Y-Bae is, as you know having stayed with us, a Victorian Town House by the sea and as such is somewhat quirky (we rather like its quirkiness) and we have done our best to modify the accommodation and amenities to suit the needs of contemporary visitors without making the changes very intrusive as we believe that this would deter from the charm of the building. We look forward to welcoming you back to Can-Y-Bae on your next visit to Llandudno.
