Granero convertido aislado en el corazón del medio rural de Gales.

Conversión de granero cerca de Pont Robert, North Powys, Gales. Retiro rural para dos. Hillview se ha convertido de un granero para proporcionar un alojamiento muy espacioso y contemporáneo, ubicado en la ladera de una colina con vistas a un valle. Hillview está bien equipado con todo lo que necesitaría para unas vacaciones perfectas. Mucho espacio de estacionamiento. El alojamiento está organizado en dos plantas. La sala de estar tiene una estufa de leña Aga para mantenerte cálido y acogedor en invierno y radiadores en cada habitación alimentados por una caldera combinada de aceite. En el verano, las puertas triples plegables se abren a una gran área de terraza para aprovechar al máximo las maravillosas vistas de las colinas. La cocina cuenta con electrodomésticos integrados, armarios pintados con granito. Una escalera de roble que sale de la sala de estar conduce a una habitación muy espaciosa y luminosa, el punto focal es un baño independiente con ruedas donde puedes disfrutar de una copa de vino y contemplar las vistas. Fuera de la habitación hay una ducha en suite. También arriba hay otra sala de estar con TV / DVD. Hillview está amueblado con muebles únicos y personalizados para crear una propiedad individual para el viajero exigente que aprecia algo un poco diferente.

Hillview está situado en una pequeña propiedad con animales y jardines circundantes. Un lugar ideal para relajarse, descansar o pasear. Pase las noches mirando las estrellas ya que no hay contaminación lumínica, o mirando la vida silvestre como murciélagos, tejones, cometas rojas y otros animales salvajes. The most beautiful space in the most beautiful setting!

Came here for our honeymoon in August - Toni facilitated the most relaxed but invigorating stay for us! The space is stunnning, she has thought of everything in the kitchen, bathroom and living area. The bed is SO comfortable and everything is very clean. Gorgeous views and excellent DVD collection!

Stunning home in beautiful location

The house has everything you need if you're looking to relax away from it all. Comfy bed, luxurious bath, log burner and outdoor space with stunning views (day and night). We also loved seeing all the rescue animals. Toni and Hari were excellent hosts and we are already planning our return.

Solitude, view, tidy, and plenty of space

This building has been completely renovated in a very quality style. We enjoyed our stay here and didn't want to leave. Nice view from the outside deck. Inside, there's a firebox for chilly nights or days. Upstairs there's a wonderfully comfortable bed, very useful bathroom, and a stunning free standing tub. The roads can be tiny, we preferred the route from Ponterobert for that reason.

The most magical Christmas

My partner & I wanted to spend our first Christmas married “in the middle of nowhere” and coming from Birmingham city central, we were definitely in the middle of nowhere! I cannot pin point one flaw. The views, the barn, the hospitality…everything was just incredible and more than what we expected. And Toni is a delight! If anybody is looking for a quiet Christmas away with their partner, we highly recommend. It was truly the most relaxed I have felt in years!

Best trip away!

Was a lovely stay at hillview. Had everything we needed for a short trip away to the country. The converted barn is very very remote so you can't hear anything around you which was lovely. Toni was a great host and made us feel so welcome and comfortable too!

A must book!

We had the most wonderful stay at Hillview, Toni was so friendly and had so many suggestions for things to do (we wished we'd booked for longer to do them all!) Hillview is a real treasure, it is such a beautiful conversion and the bedroom is absolutely gorgeous! We stayed as part of our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect, we've already looked into booking to come back for our anniversary! Thank you Toni for a truly lovely place to stay

Beautiful, Charming and a Relaxing Weekend Stay!

5* in all aspects of our stay! The Property Manager (Toni) made us feel extremely welcome as soon as we arrived. The property was presented emaculately and had so much character. We were also gifted a complimentary bottle of prosecco and walnut cake on our arrival, which was a heartwarming touch seeing as it was my birthday weekend! We really could not fault the stay, the views were beautiful, and was a perfect place to rest during a full weekend of adventures in the area. We really do hope to visit soon! Thank you again Toni!

Peaceful and Relaxing with a touch of luxury - A break away to remember

The location and setting was exactly what we wanted. Recommended by our Son and Daughter-in-Law this secluded converted barn lived up to the expectations that we had envisaged and proved to be the perfect retreat for our Spring getaway. With just the sounds of the birds and the hillside sheep this made for our perfect setting. The accommodation has a superb upper floor bedroom and the views across the countryside and indeed the owner's amazing vegetable garden are a memory to cherish. The roll top bath brings that touch of luxury that made our stay, we really enjoyed our time here and given the opportunity to travel up we would love to stay again. Thank you for making our holiday.

Gorgeous barn conversion in a peaceful setting

Amazing experience

The property is one of the best we have experienced. Well presented and equiped. You can tell that all firniture and design features are well thought out and organised with love and attention. The place is actually bigger than it looks on the photos. We loved the area and had wonderful walks. It's secluded, no noice, amazing views on the stars. We would highly recommend you this property. We hope to return one day.

Excellent experience all round- great little property, cosy for a winter break and well-equipped for self catering. We loved sitting by the wood fire in the evenings and the cake was delicious!

Peaceful retreat with dark skies

Short break over Christmas, and we would definitely book again. Our hosts had provided everything we needed (including ample fuel for the log burner). Friendly but respectful of our privacy. A great place to base yourself for walking, or just for lounging at leisure. I particularly liked being able to see the night sky so clearly through the many skylights.

Superb property

A beautiful barn conversion, really spacious and tastefully decorated to a high standard. We enjoyed relaxing next to the log burner while admiring the amazing views from the living room. Toni was a most welcoming host and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. She told us about really good places to eat and visit. All in all a lovely countryside retreat to get away from everything and enjoy a peaceful few days.

Perfection.

Myself and partner wanted some time away from city life and have a quiet, recharge holiday. We got this in buckets full! The place is stunning, we thought the pictures were amazing, it was so much more in person. Toni was fantastic, warmly welcomed us and had the fire going before we arrived, so it was lovely and cosy as soon as we entered. Toni was very knowledgeable and answered everything we needed to know. Amazing apple cake was baked for us on arrival, which went down a real treat. Myself and partner cannot rate our stay any higher, we will return again and will be telling anyone who wants a getaway, that this would be the place to go!

Weekend Stay

We had the most wonderful stay at the barn. The location and the barn itself is amazing, peaceful, secluded and scenic. The barn was far better than what we have seen on the pictures and we received a warm welcome. The local area was full of great walks, beautiful places to visit and we wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back. Thank you Toni for your welcome and for making our stay so comfortable.

Beautiful Setting for a Lovely Stay

A very scenic stay, positioned well for lots of interesting places. Hillview was beautifully styled, we loved the roll-top bath which felt very luxurious after a long day of walking. Lovely to stay on a smallholding where we met the animals, especially the Alpacas and it felt great to get away from it all. Toni was very friendly and warm with helpful tips for trips and places to eat. We would love to come back again.

Cosy converted barn in lovely mid-Wales countryside

A very comfortable converted barn with lovely views, which was immaculately prepared by the friendly owner Toni, who lives close by. It rained quite a lot during our stay, but and the barn was very nice to come back to, made particularly cosy by the wood burner and the free-standing bath in the large upstairs bedroom. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay in scenic, rural mid-Wales.
