“The house is very dated, the beds were uncomfortable, the rubbish bins outside were overflowing. The listing states a hot tub and the photos show that that’s what drew us to book but upon arrival there wasn’t one ! The staff on the phone were rude when they called to complain about our parking, we wasn’t even in at the time. They didn’t even ask if everything was ok with the stay. Would I recommend it no !”

“Such a quaint old Welsh building in a lovely rural setting just outside of the market town of Ruthin (it is in the middle of a static caravan park but a very pleasant one). A great location for exploring the many places to see around the area . Rooms are of a good size and well equipped. “We had a brilliant stay. Kids loved the caravan. Beds are slightly uncomfortable but to be expected in a caravan and no toilet roll provided. Facilities in the park are great. The swimming pool has some great slides (you do have to pay for swimming but definitely worth it), kids loved the evening disco and there is a free train ride going round the park which was nice. “Gavin and Christopher have put a lot of thought into giving you an enjoyable stay at the Manorhaus Ruthin. The rooms are decorated reflecting welsh designs. The dining room has beautiful sculptures. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious with a lot of choice. The coffee was excellent. Overall we had a great week end stay. The Manorhaus is only minutes walking into the centre where there are several excellent eateries/restaurants”

The cottage is situated opposite the Eagle and child pub. Delicious food, super friendly and great value for money. Will definitely be returning. ”
