80 acre Ranch with Private Creekfront Cabin

  • Rock cabin privately situated on Comanche Creek with 80+ acres available to roam freely. Tucked away among hertiage live oaks and towering cedar elm trees is a 2 bedroom (King & Queen Beds respectively), 1 bath cabin (with walk-in shower) just 25 mins to Horseshoe Bay, 45 mins to Fredericksburg and about an hour from Austin. The cabin comfortably sleeps 4 and offers a full size kitchen. Enjoy the peace of being surrounded by nature among wild turkeys and grazing deer. Feel free to hike around the acreage or use the buggy to cruise about. Head into town for dinner or grill out on the patio, there’s no better way to kick your heels up and recharge. Exceptional stargazing!

Property was absolutely beautiful!! We had so much fun riding around on the trails and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Cabin was cute and had everything we needed. Very comfortable beds. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice secluded property

If you're wanting a nice, quite, secluded stay, this is a great place for that. No traffic, noise, or neighbors. Cabin is very up to date and comfortable.

Amazing Getaway

Beautiful property that was a blast to explore. My husband had a blast fishing in the creek and we loved driving around in the provided buggy.

Quiet and peaceful

Very quiet and peaceful. Just the sounds of nature with shade and great views. The property is very well kept. The use of the buggy was a great addition!!!

This place is absolutely beautiful! We fell in love with the property, we enjoyed the experience, watching all the wildlife is so peaceful, the owners and the ranch foreman was so helpful! We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back again!

Just What We Needed

If you’re looking for a few days of peace and quiet close to nature but still have all basic creature comforts accounted for, this place is great. We had great weather and spent almost all of our time outside with our children and cooked meals we brought over the large fire pit each evening. A perfect getaway for a small family of non-campers that wanted to simplify for a few days and get out in nature.

Lovely getaway

This is a beautiful and comfortable.place to get away from it all and enjoy a few days of serenity in the beauty of nature. The ranch was ours to walk and explore. We enjoyed it immensely. Andi is a thoughtul and responsive hostess.

Our gps didn’t get us all the way to the location so we got lost for a minute but once we found it everything was great. It’s a hidden gem! Cute, clean cabin with cozy bed.

Peaceful and relaxing stay

Absolutely amazing property and peaceful. My son and I enjoyed campfire and stars at night. Kitchen was more than adequate for meal prep. We enjoyed the fishing and my son enjoyed the kayaking as well. We got a few bites from the hungry bass. They are well stocked there as we released those we caught back into the water after

Fabulous place to get away from it all. Very relaxing. Property is wonderful.

Great place to get away from it all. Love to see the place when the creek is full but that not take away from the fabulous location and views. The temp we temperatures were over 100 degrees when we stayed but sitting on the patio under the shade of the oak trees was a great way to relax and forget about the world. The cabin is well equipped and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our break

Great stay

We had a great time at the property at the property and it was fun to see coyotes, cows, wild pigs in the area. There’s no light where you turn onto 308 and so it’s just good to be aware of that. We had a wonderful time starting campfires and grilling.

Peaceful Getaway

We stayed here a few nights for New Years. This is our second time doing so (first was at the Pike House (same property)). The house is perfect and has everything you need. Well decorated and cozy with a comfortable bed. But our favorite part is roaming the property on either foot or the provided Polaris. The silence is the absolute best part followed by the abundant wildlife. Firepit is great and large with plenty of provided wood. We love the property but I think our dog loves it the most. We hope to be back soon.

A Peaceful Place

My husband and I, along with our two labs stayed here for two nights. Absolutely delightful, especially if you are looking for quite walks in the hill country. This was our first stop along the Texas Hill Country Overland Route and it worked perfect. The home is charming, but the porch is where you hang. We would definitely visit again. Even though the Texas drought has taken a toll on the area, the property and wildlife are worth visit.
