“This is a lovely hotel with great views and is also dog-friendly (which is why we originally chose it). The standout element has to be the service — Leah and the whole team are incredibly welcoming and put in next-level effort to ensure we had the best stay. If you’re not staying at the hotel but in the area, the new bar is super recommended! There are some lovely pubs but it’s definitely going to be a top spot. We’ll be back this summer for sure now. “Cosy cottage - perfect for two and a dog. The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. Well equipped in the main, though take your own loo rolls! Booked through Hotels.com but actually through Sykes Cottages, who offered great service on the phone. Although it would have been nice to have sufficient logs for our stay on arrival, when we requested more, there...

“Please be aware there is NO SITE PARKING. Hopefully the owner changes this toggle upon reading this review. Honestly, I had almost rated this flat as 4 star because it is advertised with parking though there is none, but it was so clean and perfect I had to give 5 stars. If your lucky you can find a space to park in the loading zone across the street between 5pm and 10am but locals park there too. Luckily, we found a little area behind the antique store, but if we hadn’t we would be paying...

“It’s a well equipped apartment in a good area. The floor was not clean, and the property is in need of some maintenance. The mattresses are very springy and uncomfortable. The upstairs toilet doesn’t flush very well and leaves a bad drainage smell after use. The road noise spoils the view from the balcony and the close proximity to the train station, which serves stabling trains, early morning and late evening with engines running should be mentioned.”
