Downtown Art Studio Apartment

Este estudio de arte está ubicado a solo tres cuadras de la linda plaza de la ciudad de Lockhart con la famosa barbacoa de Lockhart y cafés, tiendas y bares locales. A solo 15 millas de la pista de carreras de Fórmula Uno y a 30 millas de Austin, puedes estar cerca de todo mientras sales del ajetreo de la ciudad. Por otro lado, Lockhart tiene mucho que ofrecer, por lo que también puede venir y disfrutar de relajarse en esta linda porción de Texas.

El propietario original era arquitecto y artista. Él diseñó la casa, y el estudio era su verdadero estudio de arte. Todavía puedes ver sus hermosos trazos de pincel en la pared. El piso es una cancha de baloncesto recuperada de la Universidad de Concordia, lo que hace que el espacio sea único. El espacio incluye una cocina y baño completo con lindos azulejos retro.

Peaceful getaway

The owner, Amanda was very friendly and welcoming. The art studio is adjacent to the homeowner so I felt safe as a female traveling alone. The bed and pillows were so comfortable and Amanda took care of all amenities. The little kitchen was well stocked with all you needed to cook if you wanted to. Plenty of bathroom towels and cleaning supplies were available too. Very nice stay, I would stay again if I needed to. The area is quiet and safe.

Cute, clean, and convenient

Loved my stay at this clean little studio. Everything I needed for an overnight stay and such an adorable space. I loved it. Amanda is an awesome host and shared multiple recommendations which were all great. Easy access to airport without hitting ATX traffic. Will be staying again soon!

Just What We Were Looking For

My husband and I wanted a central location for a walking tour of downtown Lockhart. This studio apartment was all we had hoped for. It's an easy walk to the courthouse, it's clean and efficiently laid out, and has many thoughtful touches, all working to making this space a pleasure.

Anniversary trip to BBQ land

My wife and I chose a Texas town to spend our Anniversary at. This year was Lockhart. The studio was perfect as we based out of it for our rides. We could also walk to the square, Blacks and Barb’sBQ… we would definitely stay here again…

Had a wonderful stay in Lockhart! Such a fun space and perfect spot to lay my head while in town for my son’s play! Even got to visit with my hosts at the theatre! Will definitely stay during my next visit!

Cute Place in Walking Distance of Downtown Lockhart

There were a few hiccups with the check in process, but the host was easy to reach and helped out right away. Door to the bathroom is difficult to close and doesn’t seal all the way but this can easily be fixed by shaving it down just a tad. Not that big of a deal, just annoying when sharing the space with another person. Other than that the place was very cute and had everything that my friend and I needed after a small bike tour. The towels and linens were soft. The bed and the futon were comfy. Coffee is provided and so welcomed in the morning!! Filtered water is available as well - which my health nut friend was very excited about. Just a heads up this place is on the 2nd floor. Not a problem for myself but might be for someone with mobility issues. Interacted with the host and their partner for a short bit and they were very friendly. Gave delicious recommendations at Little Trouble, a cool bar in downtown Lockhart. Overall I would recommend this Vrbo and would stay here again in the future when another bikeglamping trip to Lockhart is in the cards.

The perfect studio close to the square

We really enjoyed our brief stay at this property in Lockhart! The location couldn't be beat - an easy walk to the square. The studio was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed.

Lockhart Texas Business Trip

Host was very communicative and offered for me to check in early. Room was found to be as advertised. Parking was up close to house and you could see your vehicle from apartment. It would be great if their neighbor's would be respectful and clean up a bit. It takes away from their offering.

Great potential. Not to impressed.

Opportunity for improvement. The approach from the road is unkept and NOT inviting. Roaches and spiders were present. Seem to come out from behind tv. Were not able to secure, lock property. Stored valuables in vehicle. Still had old kcup in coffee maker. Made us question if had been cleaned. Bathroom door would not close, no privacy. Coming in late encountered tools left on stairs leading up to property and kids bikes laying in hall leading to entry door. I am super aware but safety hazard for some. Sitting on bed or couch constant view of garbage disposal under sink. No cabinet doors. Floor in property appears to be repurposed gymnasium old wood floor installed did not feel "clean" but had character. Bed had no headboard or toe board awkward. Entry door was a struggle to close. These people were very nice. Property just needs more attention, payed too much for what we got. Left private message hoping for follow up from them nothing yet. We stay at properties and this fell short However, cool air, confortable bed and nice bathroom. Great potential. Lockhart and surrounding towns are such gems. Had family there so stuck it out.

Cute, clean and comfortable. Quiet, restful sleep. Not a problem, but upstairs and hadn't realized that fact from listing.. Hubby and I had to share a coffee cup. No bath soap or Kleenex. Because of the time of arrived we did not contact owner, but she probably would have alleviated these issues. Probably has now!

Great apartment for two.

Good location in Lockhart, Texas. Amenities exactly as described. For a couple, like ourselves, who do not need an entire house, this was just right. We likedthe art on the walls, and the sliding barn door to the bath area was a nice touch . Good amount of shelving and closet space. Our host was responsive to our questions and needs. We would definitely book it again.

Great Location

Sheets were very soft. Needed two wash clothes and better hot water. Internet password didn't work and TV was challenging to operate But overall, it is a nice, clean and spacious space. Coffee with 1/2 & 1/2 was a plus! Thank you :)
