“Second time returning to John’s house and we loved it even more than the first time! You can’t beat the location. Quiet canal spot and 5 min walk to the beach. WellStocked kitchen, brand new comfy couches, and love the house lay out. The lift is super helpful for getting supplies up to the house. Kayaking on the canal was relaxing and fun. As always John is super easy to communicate with and let me know of a concert happening while we were down there. See you again next year!”

The management was very responsive, we had issues getting in the first day and called the management team and they were able to assist us immediately. “We were in town for a concert at UVA. The hosts were super welcoming, even going above and beyond to make sure the grill on property was fixed before we got there. The house was cute and clean with everything that you could need. The outdoor amenities were awesome; we caught fish in the pond, grilled burgers, and enjoyed a campfire during our stay! If we are back in the area we will definitely stay here again!”

“We loved the great-room just off the dining/kitchen area, as well as the boat dock for lounging and kayaking. Used the patio for grilling and campfire with s'mores. The location at the north end of the lake is a convenient launching point for area attractions. Couldn't really use the spare sitting room as a bedroom, but fortunately we didn't need it. Had a few minor issues, but the owner/host was very responsive. ”
