  • "Aspen Retreat" is a very fitting description for this beautiful mid size lodge where you will be greeted by towering Aspen Trees. This lodge is perfect for families or several couples looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Aspen Retreat is located on 60 beautiful acres of wooded land. The location is ideal, offering privacy and seclusion on a quiet country (paved) road and yet only 3.4 mile off US Route 33 (only 1 mile off S.R. 595). Approximately a 30 min drive to the many Caves, Trails and Rock Formations that has made Hocking Hills Famous! To further add to the appeal of this unique location, It is located within 10 miles from 7 Major Wayne National Forest Trail Heads and the Brass Ring Golf Course and Restaurant is located only 7.3 miles from your cabin door. So whether you wish to relax in front of the fireplace, sit around a campfire, take a hike through the 60 acre woods of the cabin property, play a round of golf or visit the many nearby state parks and attractions, Aspen Retreat is the perfect spot for it all.

The house was tidy and clean, but the hot tub looked like it needed a clean. This could also be caused by the high wind, which caused the lid to flip open throughout the weekend.

The cabin is absolutely beautiful. I do wish they had Kleenex in the bathrooms. The beds are comfortable and the sheets are super soft. We will definitely stay here again.
