This house is ONE OF THE NICEST PLACES I HAVE EVER STAYED. We love the family history of the place. My wife and I were in Logan for about a week, and we felt so much at home, here, that we booked again on our next trip. The house is very well cared for, and it is the perfect size for a couple, or for a couple with two children. Temperature wise, it is snug, and the heat is very effective. It has a small and very nicely laid out kitchen – we ate 3 meals per day, here, cooking something each night. There is a small, spare back yard with a BBQ; we did not use it, but it isn’t mentioned in the description, so I mention it, here. The living room has a TV where you can watch your streaming services (or broadcast TV, if you are a luddite…) – it’s big enough to watch from the dining area, if you wish. The dishwasher gets dishes clean; there are new, non-stick pans and a set of really sharp knives. It’s plenty quiet, even though it is a short distance off Main Street/Highway 89.
You can walk a couple of blocks to downtown Logan, with parks, a great antique store, lots of restaurants. Drive up to Angie’s and get a pie for your stay. Hamburgers, hoagies, and Pizza are just across Main Street. Smith’s grocery is only about six blocks away.
Lee and the grounds manager Chuck are both very, very nice people. Lee came on a Sunday to bring us sheets for the pull-out bed – what a nice man!
I recommend this house when you stay in Logan. Just don’t rent it when I want to stay there!
