We enjoyed our stay last year so much that we decided to come back. It was a truly restful vacation.We only left the farm to go to the groceries. It is great to be welcomed by the host. We enjoyed the wildlife, the firepit and especially the hot tub,Thank you Downs Family

It's a Keeper

Too bad we can only give five stars. Our stay here warrants many more. Modern amenities and day-to-day needs all prepared for by our host. We wanted for nothing in the bath, kitchen, laundry, or ambiance. Flexibility with getting in due to some challenging weather was not an issue with our host. Areas to get some quiet time or gather for food or fun. And all this on the property. We chose this location as our nest throughout a long weekend of gathering at multiple locations in and around Logan with siblings, grandkids, nieces and nephews, Grand-nieces and nephews, wow. If/when we return to the area, this will be our ground zero. Job well done, Downs family.

Awesome way to spend our combined birthday celebration!

Great experience, starting with personal welcome from the host. She gave us a tour of the house and answered any questions we had. Everything was clean and well stocked. We truly enjoyed the hot tub and the outdoor griddle. They even shared the tomatoes from the garden. Evenings were spent enjoying watching the deer, rabbits, racoons and farm cats. we had a pleasant evening around the firepit making use of the s'mores in the welcome basket. Thank you Downs Family

Above and Beyond

The Fsrmhouse and host exceeded our expectations. As many reviews stated, the Farmhouse is very clean and tidy. The host thought of everything you could want and need, plus more. However, there were also many things that your normal VRBO doesn’t offer. We got to feed the deer and watch them only a few feet away from the hot tub at night. They are there all the time. Also got to see some friendly cats and watch the hummingbirds at the front porch. This place was great and will recommend to anyone looking to visit Hocking Hills area.

Ladies wine-tasting weekend

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful farmhouse! The attention to detail in order to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable was the best I’ve experienced! We enjoyed watching the wildlife, relaxing in the hot tub, making breakfast in the kitchen, and playing games around the table in the evening together. I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Retreat

We had a wonderful stay at Bosh Hollow Farmhouse! Everything was very clean. Beds and couches were comfortable. The view from the porch is beautiful in the evening. We enjoyed the very clean and well kept hot tub! We had a group of 7 women and the home was the perfect place for us to connect and hang out. The house was perfect for that size group. The kitchen was very well stocked and the owners were great hosts! We will for sure be back!!

Perfect for girls weekend

Had a great gathering in this beautifully renovated farmhouse. Picked this place as there were 7 of us and there are 7 separate beds besides pull out couch. Enjoyed the fire pit and also the ability to walk to trailheads. Great hiking without the need to get in your car! Perfect place to reunite with college friends.

Great place for our business retreat!

We had 8 women stay at this VRBO for a business retreat and it was perfect! We had the perfect amount of relaxation in a country setting, while having the appropriate amount of technology needed for our business meetings! Everything was super clean and all the little extras were the perfect touch! We loved having access to the grills, hot tub, and nature (a couple deer visited each night and were great to watch). The groups fav place of the whole house was the front porch! It had ample seating and was so peaceful! Would def recommend this house and we'll definitely be back! Thank you!!!!

Nice and peaceful stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this quaint farmhouse so much! The house was so beautiful and had so many thoughtful touches! And I guess I did not read the description very well but was pleasantly surprised there were 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms! Everything was very nice and it was evident the owners take a lot of pride in this place. I would definitely stay here again!

Hocking Hills trip

Great place near Hocking Hills

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for us and exceeded our expectations. The beds were very comfortable. The house was clean, tidy and very well kept. Plenty of outside space, with a nice front porch, a very good fire pit area and grill. The grill was under a roofed pavilion and there were corn hole boards to use as well. There was a hot tub that we didn't use but would have been nice. We got to meet the owner and she was very pleasant and showed us all through the property when we checked in. All around a great stay and would not hesitate to stay here again. Hope to get the chance to stay again.

Spring Break 2023

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Boch Hollow farm. It is an old farm house but has been renovated nicely with modern features. The place was nice and clean when we arrived. We really liked how the house was decorated and the kids loved the layout of the kid room with bunk beds. The kitchen is very functional with newer appliances and was well stocked with cookware, utensils and spices. The hot tub is a nice feature and we used it daily. The property is large and sits on a quiet road with little traffic. The only drawback was that it is about a 20-30 minute drive to get to Hocking Hills State Park, but isn't far from Logan. The hosts were great and met with us as we arrived, and checked in after the first day to make sure everything met our expectations. The kids and I had fun playing the ring/hook game in the shed and exploring the nature preserve surrounding the property.

Exceptional Hosts & Farm House

The owners are exceptional hosts! They are very hospitable, intentional, thoughtful, and detail oriented. The house is well maintained and designed. The decorators farm chic is on par. The property is gorgeous, boasts beautiful views and farms all around. There was so much to do on site, hot tub, fire pit, grill, hiking, etc. The accommodations were excellent for our work planning & restoration retreat! We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again in the future!
