Construido por la Junta Distrital Congestionada en 1903, esta hermosa casa de campo acaba de ser completamente renovada y tiene una calificación de 4 * con la Autoridad de Turismo de Irlanda. Situado en el pequeño pueblo de Bracklagh, ha sido terminado con un estándar muy alto con un nuevo baño y cocina, baño privado, estufa de leña / turba, sky + HD, estación de conexión para iPod, radio digital Roberts, ropa de The White Empresa, batas de baño y calefacción por suelo radiante a través de una bomba de calor de agua subterránea. Un granero restaurado es ideal para estacionar, mientras que un segundo granero con cerradura es ideal para guardar bicicletas, tablas de surf y similares. Bracklagh es muy tranquilo y un paraíso para la vida silvestre, especialmente las liebres.

A wonderful holiday cottage with fantastic hosts!

After our experience at the last cottage, which was less than welcoming (guest instructions posted like confetti around whole house), cluttered, and unclean, we weren't sure what to expect.We weren’t disappointed! Seán allowed us to check in early and met us at their cottage to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We couldn't have asked for more!The cottage was spotlessly clean and had some basic supplies (tea, sugar, etc.). We took advantage of Suzi's cooking and generosity by ordering her soda bread and a cottage pie for two which would easily feed four and all for a very reasonable 25...thank you, Suzi We humans soon made friends with the resident cats, who thankfully were very dog savvy moggies, although our dogs were less entranced Would we recommend? Undoubtably!Would we come again? Absolutely!

Perfect

This location was ideal for us and our dogs as we needed to escape the madness of fireworks over Halloween and enjoy a quiet countryside break. The property was clean and well cared for and had all the facilities we needed. The owner was always on hand to deal with any issues and it was the icing on the cake to have the company of their cats and ponies

The peaceful Blue Cottage

I loved the Blue Cottage. Peaceful, calming and away from everywhere. It was exactly what I needed as I was recovering from 6 months of chemo. Teddy, my male Lhasa Apso, fell in love with the white Shetland pony. He would run to her when he went out and lick her mouth. She wasn’t sure what to make of it at the beginning, but eventually joined in. So funny watching the pair of them. Sasha wasn’t so interested. We had a slight problem the first night; the electricity went off, probably affected by the severe storm the day before. Sean very kindly brought me candles, wood and turf for the fire and make sure everything was okay. I felt very well looked after and certainly would recommend it to anyone else. I was sorry to leave.

Beautiful cottage and lovely owners

Unfortunately this was a work trip so I didn’t get to explore the beautiful countryside as much as I would have liked but the cottage was absolutely beautiful. Really well equipped and comfortable. The owners Seán & Suzi were warm and welcoming. Great place to come back to after a hard days work but I would love to bring the family back for a wee holiday sometime. First class.

Lovely house exactly as seen and described. Very good hosts, had a folder full of information for things to do whilst you are staying there. Beautiful views of the night sky due to the rural location of the property.

liebevoll eingerichtetes, gemütliches Ferienhaus

voll ausgestattetes Ferienhaus, besonders die Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen;3 Kätzchen auf dem Grundstück wollten viel gestreichelt werden, unser Sohn im Teenageralter hatte seine Freude daran; Einziges Manko: Das Haus liegt sehr abgeschieden, ein Auto wird auf jeden Fall benötigt. Ein abendlicher Spaziergang in einen urigen Pub war nicht möglich; super nette und unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit Suzi und Sean; Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit in dem Ferienhaus.

Great and relaxing stay

The cottage is really nice, not too far from Claremorris (groceries, pharmacy and more). We had a great stay with a really calm neighborhood! Beware of the cats, they ask for pets really often. Also, the cottage has many nice things to visit around: beaches, museum, castles... and Sean and Suzi have put together a binder with great recommendations.

We absolutely loved our stay here, we were looking foward to a nice peaceful long weekend and this cottage provided just that. The kids loved having there own rooms as they usually have to share a room when we go away. My son had hours of enjoyment using the extra large box of lego to not only play with but also to do his stop motion videos. We did have the unfortunate inconvenience of car troubles on a bank holiday weekend but sean and suzie were very helpful in suggesting places that could help us and even offered to baby/dog sit if we needed and gave us extra time in the cottage before checking out so that we could make areangements. We could not recommend them more for a quiet getaway and we look foward to returning in the future. They have provided everything you will need while you are there, there is no utensil or cookware that you will find yourself without. Thank you so much for having us
