“El hotel es precioso situado en un lugar tranquilo con Spa. Las habitaciones están muy bien y la cama es súper cómoda. Lo único que no me gustó eran las almohadas. The only thing I did not like were the pillows., they were lumpy. Breakfast was excellent. We definitely recommend staying at brandshatch!!!”

“Average hotel but what let it down was: a) the check-in filling out forms when all provided at time of booking. Reception taking photos of credit cards with personal phones is risky and not standard. b) after asking 3 times with 2 different reception staff to get the heater turned off in my room (roasting) as the controls did not work on the radiator. Nothing happened and not fixed over a couple of days”

“Hotel didn’t look anything like the photos shown!! 1st room was greeted in the bed with ants! To be told at reception they would “upgrade” me!! Upgraded room was no better! Shower seal was green! Splats all over the carpet! Everything about it was awful!! ”

“OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. “La persona que me recibió en recepción fue muy amable, pero a pesar de anunciar el desayuno, no había posibilidad de tomarlo. Al final pagando 7 GBP me llevaron algo para desayunar al día siguiente, pero ni siquiera me pusieron cubiertos para poder untarme la mantequilla. El armario no tenía ni una percha y la balda para dejar la ropa no la han limpiado nunca. ”

“Very friendly and welcoming staff. This is a five hundred year old building so don't expect a Premier inn with nice even floors and shiny paintwork, however if you want a pub hotel with real character this place is a gem. Every member of staff was great and couldn't do enough to make the stay perfect. Unfortunately we didn't get to have a meal there but the breakfast is absolutely worth getting up for. We will be back. ”

“The staff and the food were excellent and without fault. The rooms are similar to other Best Western hotels I've stayed in, in so much as they are a little dated, however the venue was quiet and I had a good nights sleep.”
