Process for obtaining access to was difficult and cost ~ $30 US extra taxi fare to get key.
Had permission to leave our luggage early but when we arrived no cleaning had been done and the place was extremely filthy and in disorder (food crumbs on counters, floor and sofa, dirty diapers, hairs, trash etc.),
The cleaning lady said she had 2 hours to clean. We were concerned that it could not be cleaned adequately for us to stay that night. We had four nights booked. My wife and granddaughter were concerned about the filth that we couldn’t see. We had been traveling for 2 weeks and just wanted to enjoy London without worries so we cancelled and moved to a nearby hotel.
In summary we were much more sensitive to cleanliness than the previous tenant and apartment management. We didn’t request a refund and management stated that they would not give one. However I believe we deserved some consideration, but we are just happy we kept this experience from ruining a great trip.
