Fabulous one double bedroom flat in garden setting by the river in Battersea

  • Winfield House es parte del complejo Battersea Village, justo al otro lado de la carretera de The Thames. Ubicado en jardines maduros y atractivos, este apartamento de una habitación doble de generosas dimensiones está recientemente reformado en un estilo clásico contemporáneo. A solo 200 metros de la moderna Battersea Square, hay una gran cantidad de excelentes restaurantes y bares a pocos minutos a pie. O pasee por el encantador paseo del río y cruce el puente Battersea hacia Chelsea, a solo 12 minutos a pie del apartamento. Battersea Village es un complejo cerrado eduardiano especialmente diseñado con sus propios jardines bien cuidados, donde, en el clima adecuado, puede sentarse afuera con una bebida o un picnic. Justo enfrente de nosotros, hay un pequeño parque, que incluye una cancha de tenis municipal que es de uso gratuito.
    La estación más cercana es Clapham Junction (¡la estación de trenes más concurrida de Europa!), a 8 minutos a pie. Desde Clapham es un viaje de 7 minutos a Victoria, Waterloo o 35 minutos al aeropuerto de Gatwick. Hay una parada de autobús a las afueras que puede llevarlo a Chelsea, Pimlico y Victoria o hacia Roehampton. También hay un rango de 'bicicleta de ciudad' en las afueras. El piso cuenta con excelente wifi y TV wifi. También tiene su propio espacio de estacionamiento que está disponible a un costo adicional.
    Este es un apartamento espacioso y elegante para dos personas en un edificio bien mantenido en un entorno atractivo y tranquilo, cerca del río. Está en una excelente posición para aprovechar al máximo las fantásticas instalaciones cercanas. No es adecuado para niños, ya que hay una serie de muebles y accesorios espejados / delicados que no resistirán el uso descuidado. ¡Pero son esas cosas las que lo elevan por encima del alquiler promedio! ¡Los huéspedes deben tener más de 30 años y se espera que actúen con consideración en todo momento con los vecinos en este lugar tranquilo y pacífico! Reserva mínima de 7 noches, solo dos personas.

Great Flat

Bright, spacious, well maintained, has everything that you need for a great stay. In a good location close to pubs and restaurants and bus transportation. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Very cute place. I really enjoyed the unique decor. The location is really great- lots of restaurants and cafes nearby as well as being in walking distance of Clapham Junction. Just a few minutes from the Thames which is also nice for a river walk. It’s a quiet neighbourhood as well.

Excellent Location

Lovely apartment well fitted out and close to all amenities. Short walk to Battersea square where you can find coffee shops, bakery and restaurants. Thank you Paul and Fiona for a great stay.

Great location

Really great access to transport. A very quiet area . The river is across the road so makes for great walks. The flat was much larger than we expected.Would definitely book again when back in London.

Battersea apartment

Such a lovely property. Very quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to bus stops, small neighborhood groceries and restaurants. Paul was a great help when needed and responded quickly. Very enjoyable.

Better Locations

Attractive space but difficult for International travellers with heavy bags to negotiate to Need to be fit and lively to walk to local amenities and costs build up getting to London attractions. Probably great for locals who know how it all works.

Battersea

Great central location to all of London, the 170, 44 and train all very easy to get to and use. The owner and his staff went out of their way to help us do to the timing of our arrival from Southampton to Battersea. I would recommend this as a excellent choice, it's a bit noisy due to the helicopter that comes and goes during the day, but very quiet at night considering it's central location.

Excellent Location

My husband and I stayed in this lovely flat for 2 weeks in December. Perfectly located, very clean, well equipped, bright and spacious. Felt like we were coming home each day. Comfortable bed and lovely bedding. I would definitely return. Nicer than the pictures

A week in London

Very well equipped london apartment. Check in was easy, very quiet location. 15 minutes to nearest tube but always a taxi available if required. Kitchen well stocked and a comfy bed. Rooms all a good size, we will definitely think about returning next time we visit London. Paul.

Location and Quiet

Amazing flat in Battersea! Easy access to all sites via 170 bus. 20” to Victoria Station. Fun to run about and return to such a peaceful place. Slept like a baby! Lots of air traffic in the early AM, but this only lasts a few hours.

Lovely place to stay

The apartment was lovely … comfortable, well-equipped and beautifully-decorated. It’s in a gated complex and quiet. Close to bus and Underground and train services. It’s also within minutes of the Thames River Walk. Paul and Fiona are responsive and provide an excellent level of detail about the apartment and neighborhood. Thank you!

Comfort en ruimte.

Ruim appartement waar werkelijk niets ontbreekt. Stijlvol ingericht en een veilige groene omgeving. Koel ondanks de hoge buitentemperatuur. De schuiframen zorgde ervoor dat alles goed gelucht kon worden. Centraal gelegen met de bushalte voor de deur. De huurfietsen staan op de hoek. We hebben een geweldige vakantie gehad.

Great flat

If you are like us and want to get away from the crowds this place is great. Very comfortable for two people. It is a short walk to several bus lines. One of the buses (344) is 4 stops to the new Battersea Power Station underground station on the Northern Line. There is is a Tesco Express and Sainsbury Local near by. The is a large M&S Food Hall at the Power Station.

Our London “home”

We were so very pleased with our stay at 24Winfield House a week or so ago. The flat was equipped with all we needed and was delightfully decorated. Best of all, was the attentiveness of the owner, Paul. From our initial booking to checkout, he was cordial, always helpful and at hand for anything we needed. From plumbing to directions to initial tour and even a few provided groceries, Paul and Fiona ranked at the top. Thank you, both.

Great flat by the Thames

We had a great stay in this flat. It is exactly as pictured. Very comfortable with all the amenities. Not close to a tube station but we were able to manage on the bus(es). It is also on the second floor with no elevator. The owner was very responsive and provided a lot of helpful information on the area. Great place to return to after a day of touring. And great walks close by along the river and in Battersea Park.

Beautiful Battersea stay!

Our stay in Battersea was beyond expectations! The flat is such a comfortable place to come home to after exploring London. We didn't really cook but the kitchen seemed well appointed enough if you wanted to. The bed was super comfy and the host/manager were both very responsive in regards to any questions or issues we had. Location wise, it isn't the most walkable for the main tourist type things but there is tons of stuff to explore on foot nearby including groceries, coffee shops, cafes, stores, parks and pubs. And the bus picks up right out front for those must see things farther away. The proximity to the Thames is amazing too, great for evening strolls. Overall, we didn't want to leave!

Super Location

Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Bad mit Fenster. Hübsche Küche. Sehr schönes Schlafzimmer mit guter Matratze! Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit Wohnung und Umgebung. Katzensprung zur Themse, ruhige Lage, dabei mit Bus zu Victoria Station in gut 10 Minuten. Schöne Spaziergänge entlang des Flusses zum Battersea Park. Sehr freundliche Leute in unserer Wohnanlage. Paul hat einen Ordner in der Wohnung hingelegt, in dem alles Wissenswerte genau erklärt wird. Absolut zu empfehlen!!

Lovely one BR flat that was just like the pictures!

Bedroom & living room bigger than expected. Kitchen small but we’ll equipped. We only ate breakfasts at the flat. Also small grocery shops near by. Landlord left detailed directions to restaurants in area. Quiet neighborhood. People polite and friendly. Felt very safe . Bus stop very close to flat. The ride to Victoria Station about 20 minutes and worked well for us. Landlord reachable; Quick and pleasant in interactions. Last morning there we heard lots of plane traffic, but had not noticed that noise before. We really enjoyed our week there. Thank you!
