For the first welcome in walk we were greeted by a filthy carpet and funky smell. The carpet was stained throughout the house.The kitchen is old, plastic covers, peeling off cabinets and steel wool holding the washing machine in place. A few tea/coffee cups and glasses but other than that, it’s slim pickings. One tea towel for a week stay? One paper towel, and a few rolls of toilet paper. We had to go out and buy all. Expect hotel provisioning. The dishwasher leaked all over the floor when we used it. Toilets don’t flush and blinds don’t open. One towel and hand towel per person, no face booths or extra towels. The linens were clearly professionally laundered but the extra blankets on the bed were dirty, we had to wash them to use to cover the dirty couches and pillows which have not recently been cleaned. The location is great, showers were hot but this is just not what is shown.Finally, we had problems with the keyless entry, code was reset and we were not notified, thankfully we had someone in the apartment to let us in. Second incident, the battery ran out, so again, if we had not had someone in the apartment to get in we would have been locked out after a long day of London time.Disappointing and I feel sorry to leave this detail but you need to know before you go!
