The apartment was clean when we arrived, but it had the aroma of smoke. Also, the paint on a few of the walls was peeling. The apartment was nicer than the building which was rather shabby in the lobby. Also, the neighborhood is such that a fair amount of trash is ever-present outside the front door. Fortunately, the AC worked very well and the kitchen was good.

Great location and apartment

Really great, modern, updated and clean apartment on top floor. Location is incredible if you want to be in the middle of everything. Literally walk out and you spill out into the middle of Chinatown. Good amenities, beds are comfortable. The only downside is that it's 3 flights up and the elevator doesn't work for some reason. Loved this apartment!

Great location

The apartment was in a great location to get on the tube and see all the sights of London. Its a very busy location just steps from Chinatown. The rooms are quiet for sleeping. If you have trouble with stairs this is not the place for you as it is a hike up to the 3rd floor. The apartment did smell like stale smoke (maybe from another apartment) and the second bathroom (non ensuite) smelled like sewer which wasn't super pleasant. The apartment could use some blankets in the main living area as it is very bare.

great location - AC helpful for summer trip

This apartment was simple, clean, easy to use. We travelled with 2 teens in the summer so having a functional air conditioning was very helpful. Great location in Chinatown and easy to walk everywhere and several tube stops close by. Only downsides were 3 flights of stairs - not able to use the elevator to take bags up and down. No dryer so you have to hang all clothes and towels to dry.

Liked that it was close to everything, including the tube. Please know the beds are not American kings but we're comfortable. Was given one towel per person for the week, wish there were more and wish there were washclothes. Overall would say it would compare to a 3 1/2 to 4 star American hotel.

Perfect Location in the heart of London

Apartment was great, check in etc was simple with great communication from Alex. For a central location. the flat was quiet, I expected it to be noisier but was pleasantly surprised. The flat was clean and we would be happy to use it again on our next trip.

As central as it gets

Spacious, clean, and remarkably quiet given the location which is about 100 yards from Leicester Square. Check in, check out, documentation about property all highly professional. Apartorial team responsive and helpful.

Fantastic place

Just all round excellent place. Communication was instant, very professional. The flat was lovely, everything you would need, spotless. The reviews said it was quiet inside the flat but it was completely quiet, no noise whatsoever! Best place I've stayed in!

Quiet apartment in the heart of London

Excellent stay. Extremely quiet apartment. Great communication with host and quick response to all of our needs. Only one slight issue with internet speed because it was listed as "very fast internet" but it was slow. Although the plan was changed by host, still the speed was below 22 Mbps. However, we had a great time in this very quiet property located in the heart of London.

just the perfect place!

Everything was as described on line. It even went beyond our expectations. The apartment is perfectly located, in the center of everything. It is bright, clean and more amazingly extremely quiet. You cannot realize that you are in one of the most lively place in London. We will be back!

A secluded, immaculate home from home in the thick of the west end action.

From initial contact with the rental team, to booking, to check in, to the stay and finally to check out, the entire process was friendly and effortless. The appartment was immaculate, its a secluded sacturary right in the middle of london’s west end. I can’t recommend this appt highly enough. But please make sure my dates fir next year are available! Perfect retreat from the maddening crowd

Couldn’t ask for a better location. Despite the crowds and the constant action it was very quiet. It was spacious and well equipped. If you’re looking to stay in Central London this may well be the place for you. Alex and the rest of the team were very responsive. I’m extremely happy to have stayed here.

Wonderful Communication and Great Apartment!!

All new modern apartment. Kitchen was well equipped with latest appliances. We did not do any actual cooking but the kitchen seemed to be well stocked with the necessary utensils, pots and pans, etc. if you wanted to cook. Coffee and tea were provided in the cabinets. Great bathrooms and wonderful comfy beds. Location was in the center of lots of activity and right on the edge of China Town. My daughter said it seemed like we were in the Times Square of London but the apartment was super quiet. We easily walked to Whole Foods to do food shopping and Leicester Square with a great movie theatre was close by. Also other theatres with live plays and musicals were within walking distance (we saw the classic Mouse Trap). Two tube stops (Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus) were just a couple of blocks away in 2 different directions. Alex was super responsive to any questions and was very helpful with any info we requested not just about the apartment but about our trip in general. I do not give 5 star reviews lightly but this place deserves it!
