Unfortunately we had a terrible experience at this property. The property does not look like what the pictures show—those must be at least a few years old. The patio is overgrown and inaccessible. Grime in the bathrooms, creaky floors everywhere, marked up walls. The worst part was the hot water didn’t work so we were literally taking cold showers for our entire stay. We made many attempts to resolve this with VRBO and the host and both kept directing me to try different fixes, which was not how I wanted to spend my vacation. They never sent a repairman and did not resolve the issue. Then when I sought a refund, VRBO told me it was up to the host because the payment went through a third party, and the host then stopped responding to any of my messages. Horrible customer service, very frustrating experience, hence the 1 star review. Also beware if you shell out 40 for a baby crib, that does not come with a sheet for the crib.

There were a number of reason why not to stay here, especially in the summer. Overall, communication with the owner was awful, very hard to get a hold of. They do not use VRBO to handle payment, which was a red flag, but I went with it. We had a terrible time paying for the VRBO, and also getting our 950 Euro deposit back. It was not done in the 14 business days they say the refund would be, and we didn't get all the money back in our deposit despite saying we would get our full deposit.List of things wrong:No ability to open first floor window. It was so hot and humid, the first floor became a heat box, and then that heat traveled up to the 2nd and 3rd floor. We had so many fans and windows open on the 2nd and 3rd floor, but it did not help. it was miserable trying to sleep.The 3rd floor bathroom shower didn't work for majority of the stay, they eventually came and fix it with a few days left. There were 6 of us trying to use one bathroom. The washer/dryer, is not something to count on with 6 people. One load took over 6 hours to complete. The floorboards in the kitchen were loose, and we had mice. It was gross.Overall and awful stay, but we enjoyed our time in London regardless.

The apartment is in a fantastic central location, ust a short walk from Exmouth Market, a lively area filled with cafes, restaurants, and boutique shops. The iconic Smithfield Market is also nearby, offering a great local vibe. You’re close to cultural spots like the Museum of London and St. Paul’s Cathedral. Getting around is easy with several metro stations close by, including Farringdon, and Clerkenwell Green is just a few minutes away as well. he apartment itself was very clean and comfortable. The bedrooms were spacious and cozy, perfect for a good night’s sleep. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the living room was lovely, a great space to relax after a day of exploring.

Great place!

We had an excellent stay at this property, scoring it a perfect 10/10. The location was ideal, with shops, restaurants, and a supermarket just a short walk away. The area was quiet, safe, and easily accessible by bus and tube. The house was spotless and very comfortable. The four bedrooms were cozy, and the bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. We appreciated the fully equipped kitchen, which made meal preparation easy, and the spacious living room was perfect for relaxing. The garden was a lovely bonus, offering a peaceful outdoor space. I highly recommend this property for its great location, comfort, and amenities. Everything we needed was right there, making our stay enjoyable and hassle-free.

Ruined our trip to London

We traveled from the USA for our holiday. Spent 5 nights in Scotland and 4 nights in London. Arriving at this flat the neighborhood seemed quiet, however entering the flat was the smell was of body odor. We were traveling with 5 adults and 1 ten year old and opening the door the living room could only seat 3 people total and kitchen only 2 comfortably. So to sit as a family and talk in the evenings was difficult as 3 people had to either sit on the floor or stairs. The second floor bathroom was what one would find in a travel trailer the shower was so tiny the men in our group could not fit, and forget shaving your legs. The toilet in that bathroom the handle was broke so you had to take the lid off and pull the arm up to flush, and the door handle fell off each time the door opened and closed. The bedrooms were small and very uncomfortable. What sealed the deal for us and caused us to leave the flat early and spend the last night in a hotel not in the flat we paid for was the neighborhood kids and the neighbor. Kids ran around at night throwing items at the flats breaking windows and glass doors and glass balcony barriers. One balcony they shattered the man came out and began cussing at everyone around that we did not stop the kids, he got mad a one woman who when he went and dragged a kid to see if it was them began cussing her out f—king c-nt. It seemed every night there was some kind of argument among partners, so the last day we packed up and went to a hotel. Stay away.
