The place was perfect. Great location, quiet and central at the same time. Perfect second bedroom with two beds for the full sized kids and full kitchen and two baths. Sam was great and made sure we had everything we needed and more! Gave us some great recommendations. In between two tube stops / we usually took the Notting Hill Gate station and on our 15 min walk back stopped for super gelato. Had our last dinner at the pub/restaurant one block away - Prince Bonaparte- it was a lovely meal. Great place and would highly recommend. Stayed 9 days and could have stayed longer. Grocery store, everything within easy walk. Thanks for everything Sam!

Sam was amazing from the get go. Very responsive and helpful with guidance on getting to the home prior to arriving, fresh bread, jams and other breakfast items were waiting for us upon arrival which gave it a nice warm welcome. The location was great and easy walking distance to the tube and other public transit. I would highly recommend staying here and would visit again at this same property. Overall amazing experience

The Mews was great! Location cannot be beat, cleanliness, amenities and communications with host were excellent. Public transportation is just out the main gate and the surrounding neighborhood has so much to offer. Will definitely try to book Shrewsbury Mews again on a return trip.

Great location in a vibrant neighbourhood - only a short walk away from the tube station, and nearby cafes, restaurants and groceries. Truly appreciated Sam’s hospitality and thoughtfulness :-D we arrived to a stocked kitchen and fridge with bread, eggs, butter, jams, and cereals. Since we were tired and jet lagged we slept way past dinner time so we enjoyed the provisions very much. Checking in and out was smooth and all communication was timely and helpful.

Sam was absolutely wonderful to communicate with, and his house was perfect for our family vacation. He even had purchase some food for us. I would highly recommend Sam Cook and his house in Notting Hill.

Fantastic location and owner is very attentive and helpful. Very comfortable setting. Quiet street but walkable to a lot. Check in and check out were easy. The owner was very responsive and helpful about any questions and made great restaurant recommendations

We really enjoyed our stay. It was fun to stay in a mews unit, very quaint London feel. Location is close to amenities and sites. The unit was clean and well provisioned. It was especially nice to have some food already provided. Manager was very responsive and helpful both before and during our stay. Will recommend it to others.

Awesome location!

We enjoyed our stay here! Great location! Near Portobello Road. Excellent recommendations! You must go to Cows pub & have a Guinness and the Eton Mess. Would definitely stay here again. Our host Sam was very nice!

Wonderful flat near Notting Hill

Great stay in a quiet neighborhood. We loved everything about the flat. The air conditioning was such a godsend to come back to at the end of the day. London had very hot weather while we were there. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms large and clean. This flat is in a private mews with electric gate. It has A/C, a dishwasher and washer. It was close to a few tube stations. Portobello Road market on Saturday is fantastic!! Sam was so easy to contact and very quickly responded to our questions.

My stay was I think a one off-great location-above a hostel

The Best: Great location, comfortable bed, heated bathroom floor, plenty of mugs, Dishwasher and host was gracious and communicated well and frankly did above to help remedy the snafoos that came along The rough (which again-I think our stay was not typical with the snafoos) It was not clean on arrival. Clothing left in cupboard, towels were not clean (and smelled), No heat on the lower level, Television was not newer (so casting was not possible), General maintenance needed on property. The lower level (entry) is freezing and could not get the radiator to turn on . This being said-The host worked to remedy the cleanliness. The hired Cleaner came even once it was noticed-but was pretty adamant the towels were brand new (there was some fecal on one-) And a lot of mold in the showers, pubic hairs, other long dark hairs. The pods for washing and dishwasher were missing and it appeared like someone left in a hurry missing some details from their previous stay. The location is great if you want to be walking distance to Notting Hill. So many great walkable cafes nearby, bus nearby, quiet neighborhood, adorable keys (which our party lost a set and the host was extremely gracious about this) I purchased bleach and cleaner and what was needed to sanitize and washed the towels so we would have a clean set. Which cost was remedied. The overall stay is above a hostel and safe I believe the host will remedy all needed things though for the next guest. Check details on amenties

The house is delightful. Entirely suitable for 4 people, Good bathrooms, Quiet. The area is very interesting and attractive. It helps to be a walker. Kensington Garden is about 20 mins walk away. And there are several tube (underground) train stations 15 or 20 mins walk away. We are old - so others would get there faster. Good bus connections. Good restaurants around.

Family trip

We loved having 2 bdrms and 2 nicely updated baths ( on separate floors). The common area was a little tight when all 4 of us were there, but because the location was so good we were out and about constantly, enjoying London. It is between 2 tube stops, and in a gated residence, so we felt safe in the flat, as well as walking the area at night. Grocery is a short walk away too. The host, Sam, was very attentive and promptly communicated when we needed him to. Our only complaint was we could not figure out how to use the combo washer/dryer, but made do w/out it.

Great place for visiting family

We had a great stay as a family of four that included 2 young children. Very convenient location and having a separate bedroom and beds for the kids was perfect! Owner was excellent at communication and made check in and check out easy.

Perfect Stay!

Sam was an amazing host. All communications were timely and easy to understand. The Mews house was spacious and clean. Just as described on the site. the location was great, close to the Portobello Rd. market, Notting Hill, and the underground station. Sam even had provided some nice food and drink when we arrived. That was appreciated after a long trip. We would definitely stay here again.
