The property itself was modern, clean, and had a nice kitchen and garden, but our experience with the management was disappointing. We booked for a quiet weekend with 8 guests, fully within the booking policy. Despite this, we were woken up at 7am on Saturday with an unannounced ‘emergency inspection’ after an unfounded claim of a party. The inspector confirmed there was no party and the house was clean, yet the property manager continued to insist otherwise and made us feel uncomfortable for the rest of our stay. We ultimately chose to leave a day early due to the treatment we received. There were also avoidable issues such as a parking permit not being processed ahead of arrival. The house is nice, but prospective guests should be aware of inconsistent communication and a management style that made us feel targeted rather than welcomed.
