Most inconvenient and filthy stay, ever!
When we arrived at the apartment late afternoon on our checkin date, it had never been cleaned from the previous guest. Bed was unmade with dirty sheets and dirty towels left on the bathroom floor. We had to contact the management company and return the keys to the drop off location and leave the apartment for several hours after a long international flight so the apartment could be cleaned. This took hours with very poor communication. Even after the cleaners arrived, the state of the apartment was poor at best.
Overall cleanliness- beard hairs around the sink, linens were stained on duvet, carpets need deep cleaning, empty toilet roll left on top of dresser, thick dust atop framed art in bathroom, glasses/dishes in cupboard had residue and not clean
Kettle full of grime/scale- unusable!
No paper towels/napkins provided
No clean kitchen sponge
No dishwasher soap provided
No laundry soap provided
So many lightbulbs out-
Shower enclosure in primary broken- couldn’t close
No hand soap in primary
No seal around shower enclosure in second bathroom- created a flooded floor so couldn’t use that shower at all throughout the stay.
Shower doesn’t drain and water pressure is lacking- water pours out over the top of the fixture and needs to be cleaned
TV remote was so worn you couldn’t read the function buttons
No first aid kit
No cleaning supplies provided at all even for simple wipe down of counters
No trash bags provided at all
Horrible high pitched buzz from living room lights
